PhotoPass Tip!

My DH and I had a GREAT experience with PhotoPass! Our photos were wonderful and they were shipped quite quickly. My tip is to bring a Sharpie Marker to write your name on. Sometimes the photographers have a lot of people coming up to them and it helps to get the right card back if your name is on it!

Thanks for the tip! My regret is not getting any pics last time because we were too tired to swing by the shop after the long day. Glad the pass works so well!

Great tip indeed. We LOST our photopass card on our last day at WDW....we were headed on a DCL cruise


Luckily for us we were able to retreive most of them with the help of a nice CM at the photoshop in AK. We even had other people's pictures on it too!

A little off topic but....Can someone explain to me what the photopass is and how it works?

You can now have all the pics that park photographers take placed on a plastic card that looksl ike a credit card. Instead of having to check and purchase your pictures before you leave the park you can now see and purchase your pictures from the parks when you return home. When you see the photographer and go up to get your first pic ( in front of the castle etc.) they will give you the card. You then have any other photographers swipe the same card and all your pics go on the same card instead of getting multiple cards in every park.Then when you get home you go to www.disneyphotopass.com and put in the numbers on your card and.. voila.. magic.. you can now view and purchase your pics.

Are the photopass all over the parks now? Seems like last year they were only in the front of the park when you came in?

We found that photographers spread out through the parks when we were there,except for Epcot, we came through the International Gateway since we stayed at the Boardwalk, so I we only saw ONE photopass photographer. All the Disney Photographers have 'Disney Photographer' on the back of their shirts.

Another tip is to take a note of your photopass card number just in case the number rubs off or you lose your card.

All great ideas! I'm a little nervous because I heard they were mixing up people's pictures. Has anyone had that trouble??

Also, I got my Photopass card from the Mickey Monitor. Did I read somewhere that AP holders get a discount on photos?

I think I have one of those cards from last Sept 04'. I wonder if I can take that one with me for last year photos that I did not purchase? Anyone know let me know?
