PhotoPass Spot List UPDATED 5/31/06

Is there anywhere that lists all of the PhotoPass spots?
If not, let's list them here! (I'll keep a running list on this post.)
I want to make sure that we get lots of shots, because I plan on getting the PhotoPass CD in September! (Has anyone made a backup copy of the CD? Is there anything "protecting" it from being copied? I would hate to spend that much money and then the CD get damaged! ) ANSWERED! THANKS!

In front of the Rose Garden at the MK. (The photographer told us this was one of the best spots because there's no people between you and the castle.)

OTHER TIPS:
They will take several pictures for you if you ask and with different group configurations. It was easier for me to get many pictures at one stop as opposed to finding different places to have them taken. (NMAMY)
[For the CD] Do plan on at least a half hour or so--more if there's a line of people in front of you. (NMAMY)
As of now, you cannot get your ride photos on your CD, but wouldn't that be great? Someone let us know if it changes! (sconnell -op)
Sadly the enhancments are no longer available on the CD.

Good idea! We missed alot of them during our Spring Break trip. Especially at MK! We really didn't see any CM's w/camera's. Great thread!

When were in April did not see any Photopass people except at the beginning of the Parks. I really would have like to get more shots, but there no Photopass anywhere else in the parks. I would like the idea of list of the Photopass people and where are stationed at. I was after I came home that they Photopass people in the character greeting area. Like to see them in more open places except in character greeting area, as it is only by DH and myself and no kids.

I am the new-b here, boards are something new to me, so please forgive me for asking how to subscribe to this thread.
We too (DH & I) will be going in Sept and would like to take advantage of all the photos as well. We have been there 2 times be but knew nothing about this board (which I love, love, love... ) The photos from our 1st trip (15th Anniversary in 01) we lost when our computer crashed and we did think to back up every month

We saw most of them at the beginning of the parks. In November they were spread out at the Osborne Light Spectular, I dont know if they are in the backlot of MGM all the time though.

Regarding the CD, I purchased the CD at the end of my trip this past Sunday. When I got home, I made 2 copies of the disk to give to my mom and in-laws, who were also on the trip. All cd's work with no problems.

Here's a few places we had ours taken in February:

In front of the Rose Garden at the MK. (The photographer told us this was one of the best spots because there's no people between you and the castle.)

With any of the characters that you wait in line to see. We had our picture taken with Stitch because he's the only one the 15 yo girls would wait in line for.

In front of the Tree of Life at AK.

In front of the RnR at MGM.

On Main Street in the MK.

Epcot was harder for us because you had to go outside the front gate. Since we stayed at the Dolphin, we were always entering through the International Gateway and couldn't find a photographer.

We had about 40 pictures taken while we were there. It was harder for me since I was with teenagers that didn't really want to stop. They will take several pictures for you if you ask and with different group configurations. It was easier for me to get many pictures at one stop as opposed to finding different places to have them taken.

Oh, one more thing. I went first thing in the morning of the day we left to pick up the CD. There was no one else in line and the CM helped me by adding lots of icons to the pictures. He was great. Do plan on at least a half hour or so--more if there's a line of people in front of you.

I'm so glad you asked! The BEST way is to click on "THREAD TOOLS" at the top right of the thread and then click "SUBSCRIBE" LOTS of people will submit a reply that is nothing but "subscribing" (because you have the option to subscribe when submitting a reply to a thread) but then a thread can be loaded with lots of messages that only say, "subscribing."

Thanks to the OP who offered to keep the list:

they take photos of Pooh and Friends at AK in the greeting area right before you enter DinoLand, I think.

They take photos in front of all the park icons

They take phots in front of the train station at MK

And I think they may be listed on park maps

I also saw PhotoPass photographers with random minor characters on Main Street the beginning of this month. One of them was kind enough to take our picture next to the statue of Roy and Minnie while she waited for her character to get back from break. We got some nice ones on the bridge from Tomorrowland to Main Street and the Castle. They also had photographers in the Judges Tent in ToonTown. I wish I could have found some photographers in World Showcase, but I never saw any. There were also PhotoPass photographers with characters like Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale, and 100 acre woods crew near the Sorcerer's Hat.

Great Idea Sconnell!

We leave soon and I want to get lots of Photopass pictures too.

One quesiton...are these spots where photographer generally are, or should I find out a schedule of when they will be there?

My suggestion would be to update the title of the thread to show a last update date - similar to how the "New Snacks on Dining Plan" thread is doing. Might make it easier for people.

There are photographers in the world showcase. I know that for sure. We had pictures done last October. If you go into the back of some of the countries you find characters. We found Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins...and we had photos done with all of them. I do bet if you asked the photographer to turn around and do your picture with the country they would.

Also, I play VMK online, and I won this free pass for a 5x7 picture riding Expidition Everest....it said for more info to go to the photo pass website.......so now my question is can you get those action riding a ride photos on your photo pass, or are they trying to make that a new thing maybe? That would be awesome I think to get all of those on your CD.
