I will be pre-ordering our Photopass this week with the price rise taking place but I just need one thing clatifying before deciding whether to add in the photobook option.

I understand that with the CD you get a release document that means you can go into any shop to print out any pictures you like, but.....

would I be able to upload my photopass CD pictures to a website such as snapfish to then use for ordering prints, photogifts or making photobooks on their site??

help appreciated!:thumbsup2

Yes, that's what most people probably do. I've printed PP photos from online sites numerous times.

I use snapfish every year for my photopass pictures. I have never had any issues.

I have uploaded to Costco & printed there with no problems. I even did my Christmas cards that way. I have ordered 2 of the disney photo books, and I love them!

Excellent, thanks for the answers. Now it's deciding whether the $50 for the Disney photobook is worth the extra cost when I can make my own photobooks on various sites for around half that.

The main reason that I ended us doing the photobook through the PhotoPass website was that I couldn't find another photobook company that offered high-quality Disney specific backgrounds and clip art. So you are right, the question then becomes whether or not that is worth the extra money for you. For me, it was, because I really enjoy creating photobooks, I wanted Disney backgrounds and clip art, and my family and I look through the ones I have made in the past very often!

Hope that helps make your decision a little easier!

I have done both. I created the Disney photobooks, which I love. The site has a lot of choices to create your own Disney themed designs.

I have also created my own digital scrapbook pages entirely from scratch using my own growing collection of clip art. I uploaded the designs (including my photopass pics) to shutterfly to have them printed as pages in a photobook.

If you haven't done it yet, I would recomend the photopass books. They are really lovely. You can get the digital versions of that too.

Here is an exerpt from one of my photopass books:

Thanks so much for sharing! Your pages came out great and you have a beautiful family!

I love creating photobooks, and I have started learning a little about digital scrapbooking, but I have a lot more to learn before going that route! That's why I ended up doing the Disney PhotoPass book. It's quite a lot more than you would pay at Shutterfly for example, but the added expense was worth it for me.

Now I am excited to receive my PhotoPass book! I ordered it on Sunday - do you know how long the processing and shipping takes?
