Hi
Sorta budget related but not really so feel free to move if need be...
I uploaded a bunch of my photopass pictures today as well as my regular photos from disney... to the photopass site. I decided to print from them because it is cheapier than going to Ritz and I need a bunch of pictures since it is for christmas pictures (thats my budget related part) So I come home this evening and have an email from Photopass saying they canceled my order because I have not followed their guidelines... so what your telling me is I can not get my photopass pictures printed by them even after I spend 100 plus on their Photo CD and have the release form? I tried to call but of course they only work 9-1... Anyone know? I've already done some through Ritz... and they didnt even ask for my release form. I guess I will just order through someone else.. But I am totally annoyed cause I've wasted alot of time on this... since their website isn't so great! LOL I Just can't believe after you have bought the CD they still won't print them for you... at .19cents...

I didn't even know Disney did $.19 prints, but I'm guessing that is only for personal photos, not Photopass photos. It even is titled "Personal" photo prints on the website. For Photopass photos, you're going to have to get them somewhere else or pay $14.95 each, I think. I don't know why that is but personally I would never bother with having Disney print photos for me. You can get them cheaper than $.19 quite a few places. And as you said, the website is not good.

Sounds like shes was trying to print them thru ritz.. not disney.

With your online order they had no idea you have a release. I would try to call them tomorrow.

Do you have a walgreens near you? They are always having deals and much less than .19 each

Yeah, you cannot get the photopass pictures at the personal price. You can get the personal pictures printed, though. If you want the photopass-taken ones, I bet you'd need to pay the big bucks.

Looks like if you're ordering 60 or more 4x6 prints then it's the same 19 cents for 1 hour pickup with Ritz...cheaper if you have them mailed to you. I really like the quality of shutterfly myself.

My pp stuff is hiding from me right now so I can't look at the release, but I bet there's something in there that covers this sort of thing....

"I uploaded a bunch of my photopass pictures today as well as my regular photos from disney... to the photopass site." and ..."have an email from Photopass saying they canceled my order"...

My wife always uploads out to Snapfish or Shutterfly and prints them with no problem for around 10 cents a print. You can usually google a free shipping code for one of the site or you can have them printed at Walgreens off of the Snapfish website.

To me, I understand it as the OP purchased the CD of the photopass pictures. Took the CD as well as the their personal memory stick and uploaded the pictures to the photopass website.
Then tried to order a bunch of prints from the "personal" selection at .19 cents a print. When photopass went to process the order, they noticed that the prints were of photopass pictures. They proceeded to cancel the order, and now the OP has to pay the regular price of the pictures (12.95 or however much per print).

I have no idea what the answer to that it. Other than the fact that, people would purchase the CD in the park, and still purchase prints at regular price afterwards to have a few on hand. They very easily could've taken the CD over to the Kodak kiosk and had the pictures printed from that.
