Photopass question

I am the organizer of a Photopass share (organized on another website). I am staying off-site so I cannot get the $50 CD discount code, but most of the other members of the share are staying on-property and will get a code.

At this point the easiest thing to do seems to be having one of them organize the share so we can get the discount, but none of them are really comfortable doing it.

So my question is, can I order a CD for the group using one of their discount codes? I assume each code is unique and can only be used once, but can the CD be ordered under one name & shipped to another?

Please no flames... I'm not trying to buck the system. Just want to know what our options are.

I think the code is connected to your email. All you'd have to do is set up the account with one of their email addresses. Yes they'd be the one to get the email confirmations on purchases and when sent, but everyone in the share has access to the account anyway so you can still DO the ordering. You can probably change the mailing address and such in your account after purchase... the code would already have been used by then so you shouldn't have issues with that and still have it sent to your house. I just headed a share for Dec, it all went very smooth, very easy, (I was able to even separate out their pics for them so they didn't have to go through everyone else's pics!) It was fun and I liked getting to chat with everyone!

Thanks! That's what I was hoping to here!

We are going to upload our photos to a Google/Picasa album then everyone can download their own photos from there. This way we won't have to deal with burning & mailing CDs.

From what I understand, the discount codes are sent out around 45 days before arrival... that means someone in our group should get a code around early March.

It's fun to be chatting with others who are going to be there around the same time as me!

Do you mind me asking what site you are doing the share on? We did the photopass share our last trip and liked it. I was hoping to do the same this year since we can't afford to get the cd by ourselves but I see we can't do that here anymore. I would love to know what site still allows them. Thanks so much!
