Photopass question

We didn't get any special effects photos, so all my editing is just borders. Do those ever change within a short time frame?

I know the year must change annually, but other than that, is it worth my time to keep checking back?

In the times I've done a photopass, it seems they really only change for new events, (Food and Wine festival is one of them) or holidays
