DH and I are doing the anniversary trip 12/10-12/14 and then we are doing a family trip with DS 1/24-1/31/09. If I remember correctly isn't Photopass only good for 30 days? I would love to be able to combine both the trips under one Photopass but is that able to be done? I hope I am making sense...

I just had my first Photopass experience last weekend, and I can't wait to see my pictures! What happens is, you have 30 days from the first use of Photopass (I first used my PP card on October 3, so my 30 day point will be Nov. 2) to register and create your online PP account on the PP website. Then, you view all of your pictures, edit how you like, save different versions of each photo, add borders, etc. You can either purchase only the photos you like or get the whole CD with all of them, which is a better deal, I think. You then have an additional 30 days from when you create your online PP account/register to order your photos (so if I create my PP account on Nov. 2, then I have until Dec. 2 to purchase).

So, if you first use your PP card on 12/10, then you have 30 days from that point to load as many photos as you can onto your card(s) and go online to create your account. Therefore, your January trip would be past the 30 days and you won't be able to get those on the card from the Dec. trip. You will have to do a new PP card for January.

I think if I remember correctly, there was an option of extending your pictures for an additional 30 days, or you can email them and ask if they will do it for you.

Adding to what Sherry has said here, you will have to get a new card when you go back in January, but you should be able to put all your pics onto one cd I believe.

If you start your first card on 12/10/08, you have until 1/09/09 to put pics onto that card and open a photopass account online. Then, you will have until 2/08/09 to order your cd. That deadline should give you plenty of time to get photos from the second trip in Jan., upload them, edit them and order the cd.

I would email or call them just to verify that though. I would hate to get your hopes up and it not work out. I am so jealous though! Two trips in two months. Lucky you! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

On their website they state that they will extend your expiration date to 30 days after the original expiration date, if you *buy* something. So buy a print or a coffee cup or something, and they'll extend it after your first trip. I *think* that should buy you enough time to get them both on the same CD.

Oooooh! That would be great if Godale could do that! So as long as you create your online account within the first 30 days, then you can keep adding cards to it within that additional 30 days until you need to buy something? That would be great! Yes, Godale, definitely double check on that, but hopefully it will work. I didn't realize you could keep adding cards after the account was created from the initial card. I knew you could get a bunch of cards onto one account, but for some reason, I assumed they all had to be added at the same time. Hopefully, you are right, Jernysgirl!

Hot dog! Sounds like a plan to me. I will try it and see what happens. Worse case scenario I won't be able to combine the photos but if I can get the extension I don't see why it won't work.
