I thought I read somewhere that if you pay a fee ($125?) :santa: :santa: upfront for the PhotoPass you then have the rights to make as many photos you want at no additional fee is that right? Would like to know right answer because we will be checking into the BC today for our very first Christmas Disney Vacation.

Actually, you don't have to pre-buy anything. After you get home you can log into www.Disneyphotopass.com and tweak your photos (adding borders, "signatures" of characters, etc.) and when you are done, you can order the cd for $125 or so.

We just got back on Wednesday and unfortunately, we didn't take the time to have Photopass people take our pictures. My dh just was more into getting the next fastpass or on the next ride! I kind of regret it, but what can ya do?

Anyway, one Photopass guy took pictures without asking us first, when we were meeting and greeting Aladdin and Jasmine...he just handed us a Photopass card at the end. So, we have 6 pictures of that "occassion" and I got to check out the Photopass features with that. It's really fun!

You can also upload your own photos so that all of your pictures are on one disc. Nice!

I think I read somewhere that you can "pre-buy" your CD and get a discount. You don't have to actually buy the cd first, just register for it at the photopass website when you get home, pre-order the CD, and then go back online and put in your photopass numbers from the cards you rec'd in the park. Don't know if this is still true or not.

Also, I didn't realize while there, and its a good tip. You can have as many photopass cards as you want and put them all on the same acct for ordering. So, if you and DH get split up (like one is riding with an older sibling, etc.) don't hesitate to continue getting photopass pictures. Just get another card from the first photographer you see. When you get home, register all the cards and you will be able to get all of your families photos on a CD (or several depending on how many pics you have.)

Have a great time!

You can pre-buy and the cost is only $99. http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitcdplan.aspx

I got this link from the stitchkingdom site. I've heard people were able to "pre-" buy after they got back and it worked but don't have experience with that myself. This also saves you the shipping costs so it turns out to be more than $26 in savings.

You can also upload your own photos so that all of your pictures are on one disc.

Their site states that uploaded pictures will not be put on the CD.

Goofyz3girls, kinda late for you now, but any of the photopass CDs you can buy (124.95 after, 99.95 pre-purchase, or 59.95 at the park without any editing) give you the photo release to make prints. :)
