Photopass Question?

I'd like to take advantage of this service, but would only want a few photos - say, in front of the major landmarks. $124.95 is an awful lot for a CD of say 20 photos, is there a sliding scale for pricing? This seems only worthwhile if you get the full 300 photos.

Is there another way to get an electronic copy without ordering that CD? I may want one or two prints, but again - is it $12.95 for each 5x7? That is exorbitant!!

you can, i would keep one for your own family. one for their family and one for both families, that way it will make it a lot easier when yall decide to go and pick out and buy your pictures!

Was that in response to my question? If so, that's good to hear. Thanks!

Nope, I mean you can look at them for 30 days online, so I guess you could print the pages but I dont even think you can right click save the low res versions.. Most people have MANY more then 20 or so pictures taken. Or of course you can just take your own. The $120 also allows you to make how ever many prints of the pics on that CD.

You may want to check the bargain area? Is that where folks look for others to share photopasses with???

I wish I'd found your site back when I was planning my trip, Will. It's great!

BTW, during our recent trip (7/11-7/16), my sister-in-law tagged along with my wife and I and two boys. She and my wife both had PhotoPasses and used them at various photo stops. I registered at the PhotoPass website, entered the card number my wife had, and then hoped to add the card number that my SIL was carrying. But before I could get that number, she registered on her own and added that number to her account. I really want to include both card numbers on one account so that I could get all of the photos on one CD instead of paying for two. Does anyone know if I can still add her card number to my account after she has added it to hers, or should I contact a PhotoPass representative to explain the problem?

Sorry Randy, each card can only be added to one account, ever. Even if your SIL removed her pics from her account, you wouldn't be able to add her card to your account.

I don't know if a PhotoPass rep would be willing to move SIL's pics into your account; probably not, but it's worth a try. Just email or call - it never hurts to ask.

Sorry Csharp, it's $125 flat fee for the CD, whether you have 5 pics or 500. And there is no other way to get an electronic copy.

I agree that $13 for a 5x7 print is highway robbery.

However, you have another option if you don't want to get a lot of PhotoPass pics taken - it's called a PhotoPass share, and it's done all the time right here on the DIS Boards.

How it works is simple - you find other folks who will be going to WDW at about the same time as you, and you all add your PhotoPass cards to just ONE account, and share the price of the CD. If 5 families share, that knocks the price down to $25 each. You designate one person to enter the cards and make the order, and that person will make copies of the CD and send it out to everyone when it arrives.

Normally, the desiognated card-holder will create a new PhotoPass account just for the share, and give the user name and password to everybody in the share, so that you can all lot into the account and add borders and graphics to your pics before the CD is ordered.

Last time I was in a PhotoPass share, I had 11 folks chipping in on the CD. I was the designated card holder, and I had no trouble with the process. Everybody got their CDs and everybody was happy.
