Photopass Question

Hey Everyone:

I have a quick question about photopass. I am planning on taking my laptop with me when we go to WDW at the end of May. Can I go online and add autographs and borders to my pictures at night and get my CD before we leave or would I have to order it and wait for it to arrive in the mail?

I am not positive, but I think you would have to wait until you get home. When the CM's bring up the photos using your photopass codes, they are not on the photopass web page. Even if you look at them at Disney, when you get home you still have to register and re-enter the codes, so I don't think the CM's would see your updated photos. However, I have ordered the pictures and photo album from the photopass web page before, and they are very fast with their shipping. I think you would get the CD within a week.

Just to get things clear, when you order the photopass CD, are the pictures with or without borders and characters on them? How does that work? I'm thinking of getting photopass everywhere we see a photog., checking out the pics and if there's enough decent ones we'd want, buying the CD and splitting the cost with a friend. The way I figure it, if we'd even want 10-12 of them, we'd break even, plus we could print extra copies for scrapbooks and stuff. But I like all the cool graphics.

If you buy the CD at Disney World, it won't have the graphics on it. The graphics take awhile to add and the CMs are not allowed to add them for you anymore. If you add them on the photopass web page when you get home, and then buy the CD, your edited pictures will be on the CD along with the originals.

Thanks for the clarification. I will definitely wait until we get home then to order the CD. Can you still look through the photos from your pass at the parks, and just not order them, or is it a big pain? I'd like to know if there are any duds ahead of time, so we can go back to certain spots and try again.

I would definetly look at the pictures while you are still at the parks. The CMs are real helpful, and I am sure they are used to people just looking at the pictures and not ordering them. It is a good idea to look at them while you are still at Disney World. When we went in 2005, some of the pictures I know we had taken did not show up when I went to the photopass web page. Sometimes the photographers can think they scanned your card, but it didn't read. I wish I would have know they were "lost" before we left Disney, so I could have had them re-done. They can try searching for them in their archives, but they don't always find them. Also, if you want Tinkerbell added to a picture of you in front of the castle, you can only have that done at Disney. They don't add that graphic on the web page.

I was at Disney World in December and they were still adding Tinkerbell at the Magic Kingdom. When I bought the CD in Toon Town, I asked the photopass CM if I could add Tinkerbell on the web page and he said no. He said it can only be done at Disney. Tinkerbell is the only character they are still doing. They are no longer doing Simba at Animal Kingdom or Stitch at MGM.

someone on here told me they asked for tink in feb and they said they wasnt doing her anymore,

anyone know whos been recently if they are or not???
