Ok...I've been working diligently on my pictures through the photopass website for the past few weeks and am about ready to purchase the cd. I'd uploaded about 100 of my personal pictures from the trip to add the cool little DLR border, etc. I go in today to check on the process of ordering the CD and notice it won't include my personal pictures. I thought I'd read on here somewhere that the cd included anything I uploaded plus everything they took. Am I doing something wrong? I definitely can't afford to buy all those pictures just to get the borders. Help!

Thank you all! I'm hoping to share some of these soon and finish the trip report I started. (Probably just in time for MNSSHP at WDW! DH decided he couldn't wait until next year for us to see Mickey again...not that I'm complaining.):banana::banana:

Assuming it is the same as WDW Photopass, your Photopass cd will only include the photos Disney took. If you want a cd with your uploaded photos, you have to order the Personal Archive cd which is about $20. Maybe the confusion is with the PHOTOBOOK. The book will let you use Photopass pics and personal pics to create the book. I don't believe personal pics have ever been included on the WDW Photopass CD. $20 for 100 altered photos is a pretty good deal. Be sure to check their offers page to see if any coupons would apply to your purchase.

I'm sorry you are having trouble. I believe about a year back photopass changed from letting you have your photos and thiers on the same CD.

Now if you want your edited photos you have to also order the Personal Photo Archive CD, it's about $20. So for all the pictures on the site you need that CD plus the Photopass CD.

No worries. It's probably my fault that I didn't check it close enough. I'll talk to DH tonight about the personal CD, but I'll probably suggest we go ahead and do that since I'm up to about $150 with the little extra borders.

With that in mind...do you think I could extend the personal CD out to the beginning of October to include the MNSSHP pics? I wouldn't do that on the DLR Photopass pics since we've already purchased for the free Photopass CD. Definitely would be nice and cheaper. Does it cost to extend?

Yes, you can extend.

Yes, it costs to extend.

There is a 3 day and a 15 day extend option. You can find them on the PhotoPass site when you are signed in to your account.

You can extend the PP pics. It doesn't matter that you have the free PP CD. You will have to add up how much it would cost to extend to October. It might be cheaper to do two CDs.

Looked it up and read the details on my promo code. It says that it deducts the price of one PhotoCD. Would that possibly mean I could get WDW pictures on the same CD?

Costs $10 for a 15-day extension. We would have to make 6 15-day extensions, so that's $60. Can I make that many extensions?

We paid around $60 for the Value Pack. I'd pay the $60 in extensions if I know I would be able to get the WDW pics on it...

So, you're going to WDW in October? You can get DL and WDW photos on the same CD, but Photopass pricing is based on the last park visited. So, if you don't got back to DL after WDW, you'll be paying the WDW CD price (even if there are DL picts on it).

That's what I figured, but the promo code does not specify that it has to be a DLR CD. I've emailed Photopass to get an answer straight from them. If I can use this with those and do the extensions out to that trip, I'll save about $40 plus be able to include my personal pictures from that trip on the Personal CD saving another $20. We'll see what they have to say. I have a week until my pictures expire, so I should be able to hear back from them before then.

It's been longer than that. In 2007 we were unable to get them all on one CD.

Your personal photos expire?

On the Photopass website, yes. I'm assuming it's for storage reasons. It costs them to have the space to store my personal pictures, so once I'm done using their borders and order the CD, they'll delete them from their server. I use Snapfish, though, and that never expires.

Where do I get more information about ordering a photopass CD? I thought you had to just order individual photos from the photopass. I didn't realized you could order all of the photos and pay one price. Sounds great!

I've heard back from PP...because the DLR cd is so much cheaper, it cannot be used to purchase the WDW cd. Oh well...it doesn't hurt to ask. I've been advised to pre-order WDW's cd and cancel if it doesn't look like we'll get the cd after the trip. They'll give us our money back. Sounds like a plan to me.

Thanks for all your help!
