Photopass question... during reg hours and during MNSSHP

Hello everyone,
I was hoping someone could shed some light on the photopass photographers and how this works. I went in the spring and I am not fibbing when I tell you I didn't see any. Maybe it was just because I didn't know what I was looking for...

We are returning in Oct for MNSSHP and I was wondering how does this work? Do they have specific places for the characters and photopass opportunities or do they move around? Also, are the lines usually long?

I am considering purchasing one but I am not sure how I missed them the first time. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

The photographers are all in the same costume. In MK they are on main street. I've always seen at least 4 or 5 along the way up to the castle. We also had one with Mary Poppins right after entering. They are in the tent with the princesses and in Ariels. They stay in the same place. At EPCOT they are right at the entrance so you can get a picture with spaceship earth in the background, they are in many of the countrys with the characters. In HS they are with Buzz and Woody by TSM and I've always seen one with the power rangers. Also by the hat. AK in front of the Tree of Life. Also with Lilo and Stich (we got pictures of Minnie and Mickey at the same spot)

None of the character meals we went to had them. I think if you ask at guest services they can send you to the right places.

Last year at the MNSSHP the lines for some of the PhotoPass picture spots were long,you will get a different card during the party. You just enter all your card #s when you log into the website. Look around for the photo pass photogs we got some great shots.The only thing was sometimes they were not available at places you would expect like at character meals and some of the character meet and greets.All in all I loved the photo pass, I pre ordered and also got the Photobook which I love. Hope you have a great trip we also hope to return this Oct. and go to the MNSSHP.
