Photopass Price update

Hey everyone,

Just thought I would pass on a little info for you about Photopass. I was just online looking at our pics from vacation when I noticed a price difference in purchasing the CD. The old price was $99 for a CD with all your pics on it, but without any of the Disney embellishments. The new price is going to be $124.95 beginning on January 18th, but it will include the Disney embellishments on the Cd.

Just wanted to let those of you know who were budgeting that CD into their vacation plans.

Is the pass good for every day of your trip? Can you see the embelishments before you buy? Sometimes I hate the way those pictures look. Also do they send the cd or do you burn it yourself? TIA

Yes, you can use the pass everyday of your trip, like up to several weeks I believe. You can also add extra passes to your account online or to your CD. As to the embellishments, you can add them yourself or just keep the picture regular without any extras. The CD can be bought at the resort or it can be bought online at the photopass site when you get home.

You can add extra cards and still get the cd with all the pictures on one CD for one price?
If so, and I am going with my sisters then we can combind all our fast passes and get a CD with all the pictures for the price on one CD - Right?

Yes, that's what we did. We had a family reunion there before Christmas and then we combined all of our cards together, we had 4 I think, and then purchased the CD with all of the pics on it. It comes with a copyright release, so you can do what you want with the pictures after that.

though i am seeing more and more photopass photographers... like at the front gate of DCA, there is like 4 of them...

Aaargh...I wish they'd let you choose which kind of CD you want. We are getting a photopass CD at the beginning of February in WDW and I was budgeting $99.

I am sure they will get me for this one! it is so hard to get pictures of all 4 of us , sometimes it looks like I was not even there because I am always behind the camera. Have they started taking more photos than just at the entrances and the castle?

We just got back last night from our first trip to DL. We got the photopass the first morning and the photographer said they will take photo's with our own camera as well. We would get a photopass photo taken, then the photographer would take one with our camera as well. We did this with every photographer so I'll compare and see how they all turned out. They took one with our camera and usually two with theirs.
