OK, We purchased the photopass plus a few weeks ago. We arrive at the end of this week and will make our first appearance in Disneyland on Thursday. We received it in the mail and I have read over it, but could use some help.

What do we do with the photo gallery CD?

Also, I am guessing we show our voucher to the PhotoPass sales center to get our card??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

John

The CD you leave it at home, it just contains stock footage for you to have. Take the voucher to the photo store and they will give you a lanyard.

Superthread has all the info you need: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3147673&highlight=photopass

I would also suggest you take a picture of the code on the back in case it goes missing you will be able to recover the pictures. (And I suggest doing this with your park tickets too)

You do not need to bring the gallery cd. Just bring the voucher to the camera shop at the end of mainstreet on the right hand side at disneyland, or to kingswell camera shop on buena vista street in DCA. The cast members will exchange the voucher for a lanyard with a photopass card on it. Every time you get a picture taken the photographer will scan your card. When you get home you can view all your pictures online and add borders/edit them. From there you either order your cd loaded with all your pics, or download it onto your computer. Both options are free.

I suggest you use a Lanyard with a better clip, the Lanyard given with the Photo Pass Plus Cards has a metal clip that doesn't hold cards on very well. My Photo Pass Plus cards fell off the metal clip three separate times in the four days I was there last week. I was very lucky my daughters found them each times they fell off. I did take a picture of the card and I did also received two extra cards in case my family got separated during our stay. Have a Magical stay and a Fantasmic vacation.

I had the same experience with my card slipping off the metal clip. I ended up keeping it in my wallet. I wish I had known getting extra cards was an option since it would have been nice if my husband had had one too.

I was there last week and had the same problem with the clip on the lanyard provided ... definitely use a different method to keep the card safe.

I didn't know you could have multiple cards issed for the PhotoPass+. Any idea how many you can link? Would 2 or 3 be acceptable?

Just put a princess and a buzz lightyear lanyard in my "save for disneyland" box. Don't want to forget those so I can keep our photopass card safe. Thanks for the tip! :)
