I wanted to give the official way to get the Goofy's Kitchen photos when you eat at Goofy's Kitchen before redeeeming your photopass plus pass. They told me 'finally someone did it right!' because apparently everyone has been doing different things.

Last night, when I went in I asked the photographer what to do. He took a picture of my voucher and took the photos. Then when the salesperson goes around he said "oh I know you have photopass plus, but this is what you'll get). Then I was told to go into the park, tell them my name and reservation time and they will give me my photos. I did not have to pay for the package then-and I didn't walk away with it. Today, I went to the camera store and they gave me the photopass plus lanyard, found my photos from yesterday and went over borders with me. I was able to do whatever border I wanted.

So, NO need to buy the package then get reimbursement. No need to go into the park to get the pass before dinner. We got the folder with recipes etc. today.

Hopefully this clarifies a lot.

So is this because you hadn't yet redeemed your photopass plus in the park before the meal? If you've already redeemed it in the park you should be able to get the package at Goofy's with no hassle, correct?

Thanks for posting your experience! We're doing Goofy's Kitchen the first night we arrive, and not going into the park until the next day. Nice to know we don't have to waste time getting escorted into the park to get the pass (how do you explain to a 2 year old and 5 year old that Mommy is going into Disneyland for a couple minutes and you have to wait at the gates with Daddy?!)

+1.

I just wish that the 2 PP+ dining locations outside the parks would start having a stack of PP+ cards that they could exchange for the vouchers. Heck, if they sold it for $99 right there, they would make a killing.

... for some reason I can only give hard copy photos to people who have the photopass plus card."

Disney needs to eliminate that reason.

The folder holds the pictures they give you. I don't remember mine having recipes, but it might have. Mine had our 8x10 pic and then another 8x10 pic of Pluto, plus a sheet of 4x6 pics.

Okay, so I have just stated researching PP+ and a little out of the loop, so can someone please help with a question I am having?

What exactly does your $69 get you? I'm not clear on if you go to a Character breakfast if you still get the photo package they usually try to sell you (in a hard copy) or if it's get loaded on to your card (or both). If there is a hard copy, are you limited to one set or can you get multiple if you go to multiple character breakfasts?

I guess I'm just trying to figure out the benefits and if it would make sense for our family. TIA!! :)

I don't really understand what you mean. Last year we got hardcopy photos with the photo package-and this year too.

Goofy's kitchen photo package comes in a folder with 4x6 photos, a family photo, and recipes from the meal (i.e.. Tortilla soup and PBJ pizza)

AFAIK photos loaded and hard copies of photos (ie. exactly what you would get in the restaurant). Our second character meal is on Tuesday, and I'll update that. You also get ride photos and all photopass photog photos on the cd. Today, photographers got us on mater's ride and luigis. They take extra photos if they see you have the pass. We now make sure we stop for those photographers. Some, they'll give you the cards and you'll have to merge, others they'll scan your card.
