We just returned from a trip to WDW and had purchased the Memory Maker beforehand. We stopped at a ton of Photopass photographers so we could get as many pictures as possible. I kept a list of the stops we made and noticed we are missing about 12 times we had photos taken. I sent requests for each parks missing photos to the link for missing photos on the Photopass website. Just curious what other peoples' experience was with missing photos and the success rate of getting them recovered and linked to your account? We took some pictures with our own cameras, but there are definitely some pictures we missed because we knew a Photopass photographer was taking them and I would hate to miss out on those memories! Especially the ones at Pirates League because they wouldn't allow us to take our own photos! Thanks in advance!!!!

I submitted a missing photo form last year because we were missing photos taken of DD at BBB. I included very thorough descriptions of the date/time and people in the photos, and they were located and added to my MDE within a day or so of my claim submission.

I did submit a missing photo report for our last trip also. They did not find it but they do search for them. You can submit the form online and they will send an email when they find out if they can find them.

12 photos or 12 times? If it's that many times you're missing, make sure all of your settings are correct and your seeing photos scanned from every band, and that you're looking at the ones from every park (I've had the freak out that I thought I was missing tons of pictures, but it turns out it was an issue with my settings).

That said, the more info you can provide on the form, the better luck they will have and they have always found what Was missing (often it's bad photos that I've had missing - either settings are bad so photos are dark or way off center or something - they do apparently go through them somehow)! Good luck!

I will also add - sometimes we saw a day or two (I think even almost a week) delay on some pictures showing up. I was with a big group of 10 people so we figured it was just trying to figure out who the connection was or where it was supposed to go. You said you just got back; if you literally JUST got back it might just be a little wait.

(It seemed venue- or -photographer-specific and just not necessarily timing. Sometimes we could see pictures shortly after they were taken, but it took at least a few days for everything to trickle in.)

I've never had an issue with PP not being able to find photos.

One day all my photos after 3pm were missing (I had a character day and met every character in MK). Because I was keeping track of when each meet happened, I was able to send exactly when photos were taken, and they recovered all 6 or so sets within a day. I have had various other times where photos go missing, and they are always recovered.

The fact that you have times/locations will help immensely in their search.

Call photopass services. They currently have some issues with their system. Several of mine were missing from last week trip. Photos were previously in the cue but then went missing. PP cm verified photos were there and said they would be restored in a couple days. If there are some that need to be found they are pretty good in doing that.

I've called the few times photos went missing. Usually, they are able to locate them!

When we were missing photos we called, I didn't want to wait for an email response. We gave them the place, around the time we were there, and the people in the photo (as well as a description of what we were wearing). They were able to find all of what we were missing. Good luck!

I have rang them twice, as when I got home 2 weeks ago, all my photos were there, then when I went in to have a look to start downloading them, quite a lot were missing.
They have extended my expiry date to a March and in both phone calls, said there was a major glitch in the system and they are still trying to fix it.
I am hoping I will get my photos back

We went through this last week. We found a person at the photo pass help desk phone number that fixed it. She explained the glitch is that the photos taken on any bands other than the main account were not showing. So, for us, the disney experience account was my husbands and the pictures taken on his band were showing but my daughters and mine were not. We were all linked correctly and our pictures were there and then suddenly weren't. The help desk person copied my bands pictures and my daughters bands pictures to my husbands band and they instantly were all there again. She said she doesn't know if the other people answering the phone know this or not. I hope this makes sense.

Thanks everyone! I think I got it figured out! Looks like my husbands band didn't have sharing capabilities checked so none of the pics he scanned his band for were showing up in my account, but I think we got it all fixed now. Thanks again!!!
