Photopass Maxpass

If we purchase maxpass the photopass is included right? Does it work similar to Disneyworld photopass, as in they'll stay in the account for a month or so, or do you have to download the pics at the end of each day (I thought I saw something about having to download them daily, which seems like it would be a pain.)

From what I've read, one difference is that they're not automatically linked, you need to write down the number after each pic (ride photo) and then link it manually in the app? How does it work when you use a photopass photographer?

Yes, photopass is included. They stay in the account. You do not have to download daily.

Manually enter the ride photo number in the app. Take a picture of it.
You have the PP scan your app. Or you can put it on a card if needed. Say, your teen got a pic in tomorrowland and you were on a ride at the time.

Good answer above. To add: we did not write down picture number from rides, rather we took a photo and entered into the app later as we had time. You can have the PhotoPass photog scan your barcode (in the app) and photos would show up in the app within hours. Pro trip: screen shot the barcode and set it as your lock screen to make your life easier, they just need to scan that! Saved me in the Royal Hall when my cell coverage disappeared. If you can't get it to work the photographer will give you a card with a barcode you can scan into the app later to claim your pictures. Easy peasy!

We were there last week in August with MaxPass and looks like the photos start expiring tomorrow (each day has one day later expiry). So you have lots of time to download them when you get home, but they don't stay there forever.

It's not like Disney World where you can add borders and such but you can still get some good photos.
