Photopass is the best thing ever!

So I'm just back from DL.

And I have to say I just LOVE photopass!

I went on the trip by myself so on coming into the park I shanghaied one of the photo people who took three pictures and handed me the card which I kept with my Park Hopper. Throughout the day I would look for the photopass people, pull out my card, hand it too them and have them take my picture. I found there were many many more in Cal Adventure if you wanted to know. But I like the background on both equally I took a couple pictures at the same area at different times in the day and ended up having done photopass about 9 times with a total of 28 pictures.

I did lose a picture. The only one I had with Pluto. It makes me sad. I think it was because the CM didn't scan it correctly.

But after having memories that I wouldn't have otherwise because I went by myself and thus had no picture taker, it was a wonderful luxury.

The CD goes for about 100 regularly but I got the special for 3 pictures and the CD for $79.

I am so glad to hear that this worked out for you. How did you get the special deal?

I am going at the end of June for a few days. It will be my first visit and I will be by myself for the first time. I would love to have some great pictures.

Ah, I'm going tomorrow and by myself too. I'm going to try to get as many Photopass pictures as possible!
I know the Photopass in WDW doesn't include ride photos (except Test Track) but what about DL? I'm guessing it's a nope, but here's hoping =)

They just offered it to me when I was checking my photos. Thats the same position I was in. It was great to have some memories.


I didn't see any ride photopasses, I'm sorry. In fact there weren't that many in DL. There were twice as many in Cal Adventure, so heading there would probably get you more pictures.

Oh and don't forget to ask for a Tink picture. You pose with your hands out and they put Tink in later, they were my fav pics of the bunch.

The only annoying thing is that I looked online and the photos of Pluto and I that I thought were gone are on there. Also 2 photos that were taken earlier.

So I've written them because I don't want to buy another CD for 4 pictures. I also don't think I should have to since the cast member told me they were all there.

Thats my one grrr from a wonderful experience with this photopass thing.

I'll update ya'll later on what happens with my four pictures.

I agree!

Our trip was May 8-12, and I actually "shared" a Photopass with two other people who were going the same two week-timeframe (one on this board who SUGGESTED we share--thanks Lisa!--and a friend of mine who was going the week after we went). We just uploaded all of our photopass numbers to the same account when we all returned from the parks.

The three of us split the CD, and it ended up being really cheap!! The three families ended up with a total of somewhere around 349 pictures, so it was a GREAT deal! The editing, etc was fun, too!

I HIGHLY recommend Photopass!!
