I have a few questions for you all....I have 2 trips coming up, Sept, 14 to the 18th. And then Oct 5 to Oct 9. I went to the offical site and IF I am reading it correctly then I could use the same PhotoPass card(s) for both trips. Then combine all the photos, up to 300, and put all of them on 1 CD? The site says that all photos are available for 30 days. So if I act quickly when I get home then I should be able to combine both trips...?

Please, some one, let me know if they will allow this? And if any of you have used this service, how are the photos? I like the idea of not lugging my camera, even if it will fit in my pocket! I just forget to take photos with all the excitement of being there! And there is allways so much else to do... the cost of the CD sounds like it would be the cheapest way to go.

Also, after you purchase a CD from them are you allowed to burn another one? I would not be making zillions, just copies for a few of us that go on the trips, maybe 3 of them. Or would that be copyright infringement? Once you buy it do you get the rights, or does Disney still hold them? I am thinking once they have your money, and after 30 days they could care less.

And FINALLY! Can you get ride photos on a PhotoPass? I don't think so, but it would be a great selling point...

Thanks, as allways!

I would think that this would work. How would Disney know that you had two separate trips? They don't....so as long as you order in the 30 days - you should be good.

Once you buy the CD, you own the copyright on all of the pictures on that CD and can make as many copies as you want. The pictures on the CD will not contain any "embellishments" such as the Disney borders, or signatures of the characters.

None of the ride photos, like ToT can be put on the photopass.

Hope this helps!

Last week the picture from Test track could go on your photopass! I asked the CM and she said they were experimenting with the idea and were testing it on test track. She said if it worked they may be adding more rides. So I don't know if this ride is still available or if it was a short time experiment.

Talk to a CM when you are at the park and see if they can extend your expiration date...

Thanks everyone. After I posted the questions I found a (different) site, that told me that Disney was thinking about adding the Rides, and that Test Track woudl be the first. The site was an Offical Walt Disney World one, but it said that it would be at least Dec. of this year befor TT was added. Glad to know they have moved forward with this.

I like the idea of talking to a CM while at a park, but am worried that I will be told NO... You know like when you asked you Mom and she said NO... in that case you asked your Dad! I guess as long as they don't have my photopass info when I ask that it can't hurt, right?

Thanks again, all!

But you dont know if you dont ask!!! :wizard: *pixie dust* for you that they say yes!!!

Thank you! And if I don't ask I could lose all the photos! Since this is my ...50th B'day... and it will be a girls trip with my BF, who has never been, I really want to get some good shots with us both. She lives on the 'other' coast, and we only see each other every few years.
And then the Oct trip is the now Annual MNSSHP, and I make everbody a different costume every year. With no free photos at the party this year, ( or so I have read on this site...), I really want some photos of that to.

However, I am cheap, and don't wish to spend a ton of money. If they will let me the CD will be the best!

:wizard: just a little extra for your extra special birthday!!! and trips!

Different situation--but we went this past January. I wanted to order a CD, but they didn't have them up online yet. I emailed & asked about it. The CM said they were working on the process & she would extend my expiration date until it was up & ready & I could order my CD. So, like I said, different situation, but they have extended my expiration date.

I believe theyre $99 with a max of 300 photos on it. Can you order the cd once you get home (ie can I preview the photos on it from home and then decide to order it) or can you only get it in the parks?

I ordered mine from home--they were just starting it back in March, but now I'm pretty sure it is standard.

Talked to my BF a while ago and we are going to do this. Even if I can't squeeze in both trips. We get together so rarely... and we are also gonna go and get MM ears for some of them ! I haven't had "Ears" since I was..., well, a LOT younger. It was BC, Befor Children.... But, now, AD, After Delivery, I usually got them for the kids. So since they are "too old" now, it is my turn again!
