Photopass+ for one week question

We leave for Disneyland on Tuesday so I'm looking at the photpass+ for a week. Do I need to buy before we leave or when I come back? Does it matter either way?

You need to buy the pass before you leave for your trip or when you are in the Parks. Photopass is fantastic and worth the money.

But are you planning to buy genie+ at all? Sorry if you already know this, but at Disneyland genie+ comes with pictures.

@katyringo is correct, but if you are not interested in Genie+ and do want PhotoPass, it is possible to purchase PhotoPass as a seperate add-on. You can have PhotoPass without buying Genie+

This is what we are doing, getting genie+ for five days and photopass is included. I think it makes up for like 25-30% of the cost depending on how many of you there are.
