Photopass Downloads

We're back home and I've logged into our Photopass account. I'm only interested in the free/included download option, but can't seem to find a way to do this.

A few questions:

(1) After I've added a border to my photo and clicked 'save as copy' is that saving it as a permanent copy or do I need to click 'add to cart' in order for it to be actually saved properly?

(2) If I want to print it out in various sizes later on, must I save the one photo times in each of the various sizes (4x6, 5x7, 8x10?)?

(3) What is the option to save it so it can be downloaded for free?

(4) Somehow I downloaded all the ride photos to my computer in one folder without realising it. The file label notes that they are saved in 4x6 size. Will this mean they're unsuitable for printing in larger sizes?

Thanks for any help! I used the 'search' feature for this first but couldn't find the answers I was looking for.

Once you've saved a copy of the photo, it's there permanently. You should be able to see both the original and any edited versions of the same photo.
You do not add each photo to your cart. When you have done all of the editing etc, you will 'add CD to cart'. This does not mean you'll get an actual CD. You will be able to download the photos to your computer.
I think if you plan on printing any photos in a large size, you probably should save them as that size as well. They are just normal photos like you'd take on your own camera, so you can enlarge them, but I think if you want them quite large, it's better to save them that way.

The quality of the Photopass pics is around 4MB which means you can enlarge them quite a bit at home and they still maintain quality. You may struggle with a massive canvas, but I can blow my 6x4 pics up to the size of my large PC monitor and they are still very clear.
The ride photos, however are closer to 2MB, so they won't hold up quite as well.

The issue with blowing up pics is that as photos get larger, they often change dimension ratio (shape). This means that a bit of cropping often occurs in the process of the enlargement. This is usually not too noticeable unless you have added a border to the pic or have a lot of detail around the edges. For these pics, you should make a copy in the size you would like to print them and then add the border.

I've actually lost my enthusiasm for editing at the moment, but as the pictures expire in 10 days I suppose I need to get my act together anyway.
