PhotoPass Delay

Ordered our PhotoPass on 12/3, well before the cut-off date for Christmas delivery. It was shipped on 12/12. It has still not arrived! We were planning on using one of the photos for our Christmas Card, but now I guess it will have to be a Happy New Year Card, if the Photopass ever arrives. I contacted them and was told that if the PhotoPass didn't arrive by 12/26, then they would check in to it.

Anybody else having a delay in getting their PhotoPass CD or photos?

I ordered some 4 x 6 prints on Dec 13th and received them in about a week. I was surprised at how fast I got them.

too late now probably, but why didn't you just download from the site and print at Target or Walmart?

Yes, it's too late, plus we have a metered internet connection and I could never hope to download them without using all of our data for the day/month. They were shipped via Fed Ex, too and I have watched them creep along from Georgia, to 2 places in North Carolina and they are now in Pennsylvania. Not impressed.

Could you go to a local library or a friends house to download them? This way you don't have to wait to get your CD and you won't use all your data? Our CD only took about a week to come when we ordered it in September from our August trip.

Unfortunately the closest library is closed this week and nobody around here has cable as the cable companies have deemed that there are not enough people here to make it profitable for them. We all live with metered or dial-up still. Had to originally drive to McDonald's half an hour away to edit all of them on my laptop. Oh well, live and learn. Happy New Year card it will be.
