You can prepay and save quite a bit of money. $99 if you buy before you get there!

DVC members received a credit for $50 on Photopass you just have to call in and they email you a promotion code. This was stackable on the $99 CD offer.
In April I got the CD for $49.95 plus $10.95 shipping and handling.

If you booked through Disney ask about the Photopass e-mail discount. It might still be available.
