I was under the impression the PhotoPass Cd's could only be purchased at MK and Epcot so I was looking to see exactly where when I saw this.

I followed the links through Disney's site through PhotoPass and there it was! Anyone do this yet? Did you get all your photos? Also, if we are going with another family can we just keep using one card and then buy all the photos on one cd?

I havent done this yet but I am actually very excited about it. It looks like you can add multiple photo passes which is good. If you take pics with another family on the same card then they would appear on the cd as well.

From what I have read, you can add borders, etc at the Judges Tent in MK.

PiperPizzaz that link I think is if you did not take care of your order at WDW and want to do it online. It clearly states that borders and signatures, etc are not included. If you want those you would have to do them at the park.

This did not have this CD set up on our trip last June and looking forward to purchasing the CD this August. I hope they had the feature of rides, water parks and photos of some of the character meals before we go.

...my understanding is the biggest difference is that on the online CD "Character signatures and borders are not included on the CD, even if you made edits to the photos in your account on DisneyPhotoPass.com."

We love all our borders, overlays and signatures we put on photos. I will say our first CM was enjoying her job and adding lots of stuff when she got called away. The CM who came to finish, while very very nice, just wasn't as into it and we ended up with less "decor" than we hoped. But the line was long so I guess I understand. But to me, the add-ons are what made it so special !! But even online purchase is a huge bargain. Overall the best $100 I spent :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

NO, we didn't get any rides included and there were no photographers at our character breakfast which I had hoped for....but that would be great ! And the photos we took of DD holding Tink did not show up, the photographer couldn't get her "computer" to click on our card. She photo'd the card number saying that would work too......so I highly suggest if it doesn't work somewhere, grab another photographer and make sure you get it on your card. We did see lots of photopass photographers in training.

Thanks everyone! I can't wait to actually have pictures of my whole family together. I hate asking strangers to take our picture.

Is the cost ($100) a flat rate? Or is it based on the number of pictures and add-ons?

The cost is a flat rate. I highly recommend taking advantage of PhotoPass. Many pics that I took with my own camera didn't turn out as nice as I would have hoped, but PhotoPass ended up saving most of those pictures, plus the borders and autographs are fun. I recommend taking time in the parks or at DTD to get this done because the borders are so nice. Plus, the CMs that helped us at ToonTown and EPCOT were able to adjust the crop a little bit so we could make some pictures fit within in the border.

Flat rate of $100. I was told up to 300 photos...........but that brings another question now that I have it.

I had I believe 108 photos, then we enhanced some and since they keep the original file on the disk and add the enhanced file, I now have 189 photos. So does the 300 number given mean 300 original photos or 300 total, original and enhanced ones combined ??????? :confused3

It means all pics on the cd combined. The nice thing is that the original pics are in their own folder and the modified ones are in a folder, so you know exactly what you're looking at.

I asked the CM who burned our CD at Epcot last week how many photos he had burned onto a single CD. He said 857! He said he asked the guy if his family spent time at any of the attractions or if they just spent all their time getting pictures taken. LOL! I didn't think that many pictures would fit on a CD but that's what he said.

We got 65 and are very pleased with the program. Character pictures are available at the parks so watch for them too.

Also, we were told we could have multiple cards if we split up and they would burn them to a single CD. We didn't end up testing this but were told by more than one PhotoPass photographer this could be done.

yes keep all of your photopass cards. Last fall during my College Program my friend and I had about 6-7 cards between us during the fall and we were able to put them all on a CD when we were done. Thankfuly in the fall they kept extending the deadline in which the photos would be "erased" out of the system so we just waited until the end of our program in January to get that done. Well worth the price :).
