Photopass cd?

I am so confused so I registered for the photo pass. But I heard you get a discount if you purchase cd before you get there. How do I do this? How much is it? On line it looks like 160? Can I just purchase there? Which is better? Please Help.

The price went up about $20 back in March. It's not $99 anymore (now it's $119), but you can still get a discount for preordering. I have never been able to find the preorder link anywhere but the Stitch Kingdom website. Here is the link:

So what is the time frame that I can still get savings if I order the week before I leave can I still get discount? How does it work the instructions are not clear. I order the cd , than put photo pass code that will be giving to me when I arrive then enter it in at the end of my trip, than they will give me a cd of my images? Sorry for asking so many questions

You will get the discount as long as you pre-order the CD BEFORE you leave for Disney. Once you pre-order the CD you'll get an email confirmation and the email will say something like "Do Not Delete this email". Keep that email in your inbox. Once you arrive in Disney, be sure to grab a photopass card from any of the photographers in the parks and have your pictures taken throughout all the parks - be sure to ask a photographer to do a special effect shot if they don't offer it to you - those are cute. Each photopass card you obtain will have a number on the card a good tip would be to either write that number down or take a picture of the numbers. Should you lose your card, a photopass member can retrieve your pictures for you by entering that number. Once you get home from your vacation, you will then need to open the confirmation email and follow the directions of entering your photopass card number and at that point you'll be able to see all your photos, make any edits and add borders. Once you're done with all your edits, you will just follow the directions to order the actual CD... very easy process. We get the photopass on every trip and love it. Good Luck and have fun!

You can have multiple cards if you want, or just one. Each member of your group could have a card. I just keep mine with my Key to the Kingdom card. At the end of your trip, you log in to the Disney PhotoPass site and enter the codes on the back of the card(s). All the pics on that card will load into your online album and be available on your CD. You can play with them (crop, add borders, etc).

I would suggest that as soon as you get a card, take a picture of the back of it with your own camera. That way if you lose your card, you still have the number so you can get your pics.

I also like to stop for any photopass photographer that I see. Even if I have already had a shot with the castle in the background, the 2nd photographer might get a better shot.

Also, ask for any special shots that they do. Some of the photographers can add a little Disney magic to your photos.

And, the photopass photographers will gladly take a picture with your own camera for you as well. That way you can get everyone in your group in the shot.

I was being cheap so i just took a screenshot of all my pics and saved them to my computer. Now I have all the pics from the cd I would get and didn't pay a dime...try it.

I was being cheap so instead of buying the cd i took a screenshot of all the pics and saved them to my computer. It took some time to do but i got all my pics from the photopass cd and didn't pay a dime.

I have purchased a CD before and recommend saving your money and buying a camera or two.

I love my photopass! I thought it was worth it and paid the money for a 1 day trip to DL (did not prepay). The photopass photographers got the best shots of DD seeing the princesses for the 1st time and they have the best location for getting shots. I did have them use my camera a few times but they were more rushed shots and I just "had" to have the photo CD. I've already did the prebuy for my September trip!

FYI, screen shots are poor quality. The real Photopass pictures are a better resolution. Disney isn't stupid. They know people will try to cheat the system.
