Hello all,

I have a question that I am pretty sure has been answered here before, but I can't unfortunately recall the answer. With 25 days and counting until our first trip to DL, I want to make sure that everything is order. While I know that you can preorder a photopass CDs for WDW, can you do the same for DL? Do you use the same photopass site, or does DL have their own? And, are the rates (re: $99 in advance) the same?

Thanks in advance.

Do NOT preorder it from that site for DL/DCA. Several months ago it was a good idea to do so, but now they lowered the price for the DL/DCA CD to under 80.

So just go, have pictures taken, then get home, play with the pictures and edit them, then order it online.

Unless you do NOT want to edit them! If you just want the plain and simple CD, and want to leave the parks with it, you can do that at the photo centers, and it's 74.99 which includes 3 5x7 prints.

Really? Thanks for the heads up. So, if you do not mind me asking, how does it work for DL? Does DL's version of photopass have a separate website? Does the regular photopass website automatically bill you differently with a DL id? Or,do you have to enter a special code?

No different website; when you enter your card ID numbers it will recognize them as being from Disneyland and/or DCA, and you will be charged the new, lower than WDW, price.

I guess they've been expanding their special pictures, too. There are hitchhiking ghosts you can have "put in" your pictures outside HM, you can have a swordfight with Captain Hook outside of POTC and/or on Pirate's Lair, there's something cute near Nemo...there's a post around here somewhere with all the locations of the fun things (along with Tinkerbell in your hands in front of the castle and Stitch popping out of the ground in DCA) they've been adding. :)

Aswell as one with darkvader!!! I didn't know about the photo pass last time i went so when i go next time I'm gonna get LOTS of pictures and hopefully i will them to get them!!! I only took like 10 pics and they all sucked so i didnt buy any..... and not that they did a bad job i'm just very pickey of pics of me :lmao:

Wow! We have bought cd's from our last two trips to WDW, but, from the sounds of things, these extra features available through DL will really make for special pictures.

Thanks for the help and info! :thumbsup2

Edited to add: Sorry about posting what is essentially a repeat of a thread from either yesterday or the day before. I completely missed it!

oh its ok new ones come up we answer all the questions meet new friends and then it leaves in a few days im sure another one will coem along. Thats whats so grate about the dis forms and excpicaly disney boards were grate and helpful

I know. Trust me, even though I have only posted a hand full of times, in the months leading up to our last 3 Disney trips I have practically lived on Dis! The first-hand insights that can be found here have helped us have all but perfect trips. And, seeing as I have never been to DL, I have read nearly every thread that has been posted in the DL section since last October, which is why I am kind of embarrassed about missed the last post.:rolleyes1

lol well welcome ya i lived here for about 3months before i finely signed up

Can you do the editing in Australia- will they send it to me back here???

Me!, don't worry about posting a question that's been posted before. Until the Search works 100% of the time, it's bound to happen!

Just in case you saw a different post that prompted feeling bad, but didn't see the post with the new opportunities, it's here. :goodvibes
