Photopass CD- worth it??

Was wondering if those of you who pre-purchased the photopass CD for $99 thought it was worth it. Did you find yourself going out of your way to find photographers to make it worth it? Or was it really convenient?

Love some input. We're leaving in 2 weeks.

we loved it, & no, you don't have to go looking for the photographers they are very easily accessible. You can get photos of your whole family vs. someone always out of the shot (or worse IMO 'flagging' down some other very busy tourist). You will be able to crop, add borders, graphics & some character signatures upon getting home, prior to asking for it to be shipped. Well worth it IMO.

They have Photopass photographers almost everywhere. You shouldn't have any problem getting over 100 photos taken, we had nearly 200 on our last trip. You can also schedule a private portrait session at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, or Saratoga Springs for $25 (if you pre-purchase the $99 CD), and all of those photos will be on your CD too. Have fun!

Worth it!

We make it sort of a game of how many pics we can have taken by the photographers- tell them you are getting the CD and sometimes they will take extra shots. It pays for itself if you would purchase just a few at the regular price on PhotoPass and you get to keep ALL OF THEM, and edit for the borders, cropping, logos/signatures etc -you can easily double the amount of shots that they take when you save the edited versions too. Then you can print wherever you want or save to your fav photo site etc. We love that we get the complete family or group in these shots since in our regular photos, someone is always left out taking the pictures.

DO IT!!!!!! Pre order.

We used it on our last trip in June 07 and ordered after returning
home, then found out you could pre order. We had about 100
photos taken, with all the enhancements DW made the CD came back
with over 250 shots.

Great deal because the whole family is in the photo, plus you
get the Copyright Release to print at your favorite Photo Store
(CVS) is who I use, I am a Store Manager and trust my folks
to do it right. My Photo manager has use some of my Photo
Pass shots as samples to show people what is available.

Ok so it sounds like this is a great idea but where do you get the pass to start the picture process?

I totally thought the photopass was worth it. We loved playing with the different graphics and customizing our pictures. We didn't go crazy with hunting photopass photographers down, but if we saw one, we did ask to have our picture taken. I'd definitely do it again.

you pre order on the photo pass website. to get the card, just ask the 1st photographer you see. they are at the fronts of the parks.
