Photopass CD question

I would like to get all my pics on the photopass CD, but I was wondering if I could have 2 trips on one CD? Providing I don't go over the limit.

I have a trip planned at the end of Nov and again at the end of January. Does anyone know if this can be done? Or are the two trips spanned too far apart to do so?

Thanks

There is a 30-day time limit on Photopass pics. Once the time limit expires, the pics are deleted from the system.

However, if your second trip was within 30 days of the first trip, then you could combine them on one CD.

But what if I don't view them until say mid January? Just hang onto the card and bring it back with me, would that work?

No, the pics are only saved on teh Photopass system for 30 days. You have that long to buy prints or CDs, then they are deleted, whether you have viewed them or not.

You can re-use a card as much as you want. I used one for 3 trips at one point, till the barcode wore off. But the pics on the system are all removed after 30 days.

We waited a few days before we logged on to "claim" them, and they are still on the site for another 4 days (11th) (or 30 days from when we claimed them) 43 days from our 1st picture and 35 days since our last... but 30 days since we claimed them.

...just looked up some info...

"Photos linked to a Disney's PhotoPass I.D. will be available online by the morning after the photos were taken. Guests must claim photos within 30 days from when the photos were taken. Photos not claimed within 30 days from which they were taken will no longer be available. Once photos are claimed and associated to a DisneyPhotoPass.com account, they will be available for viewing, sharing and purchasing for 30 days from the date of claiming, after which the photos will be permanently deleted from your account"

SO I am at 30+ days all of my pics on on there and it still gives me the option to add a photopass. So if I add a photopass I would say that I would be able to have both printed on one cd... but the question would be would they all expire on the 11th? Even the ones I just added? Or would it extend the date on all of them... or would the old ones fall off and the new ones stay???

Man I am curious how that would work. Does anyone know yet? If not perhaps someone could give me a (current, unused, unwanted) DPP # and I will add it to mine and see what happens? (as I am done with mine and just waiting for it to expire anyway)

But back to the original question, I'd say you could wait 30 days from your first picture (to be safe) and they'd be up for 30 more after that... so for trips inside of 60 days it would work. If I had waited to claim mine until Oct 28th they would have been on the site until late November. The day I get back I add the other pass and buy the CD... Right?

I am going to try and combine my two trips onto 1 PhotoPass CD. I had the same question and I wrote to the PhotoPass site. Here is the response that I got:

Hello Michelle,

Thank you for your request and interest in Disney's PhotoPass CD. Photos taken within 90 days can be included on your Disney's PhotoPass CD.
Please note that the expiration for DisneyPhotoPass.com does have a strict 30 day policy, but we allow guests to purchase a Disney's PhotoPass CD for the life of your photos (a total of 90 days from when they are first taken).

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Hi! We're going to be taking two WDW trips in the near future - one at Halloween and one at Christmas. I wanted to know if I keep the PhotoPass card that I get from my first trip in October, and use it again in December, will I be able to get all of the photos from both trips on one CD? I guess the simple question is, how long do the pictures stay in the PhotoPass system?

Thanks!

I agree with this. My wife got our photopass on the last day of our trip in April (1st week). While she was doing this, my kids and I ran into Rabbit and got some photopass pictures on a photopass - however, it was too late to put on our current photopass CD as we were leaving ASAP.

We went back back the second week of June and we were able to include them on the photopass for the newer trip. I was thankful.
