I want to do the Photopass when we go to Disneyland in November. Most of the information I find online pertains to Photopass at Disney World in Orlando. So, for those of you that have done Photopass at DISNEYLAND... Are there lots of photo opportunities? Did you buy the CD? If so, how many pics were on your CD? I am interested in pre-paying for the CD, but not sure if I am paying for 10 photos are like 20+ photos.
Thanks in advance!

There are not a lot of photo spots in DLR especially because of the construction in DCA's entrance. So you need to work a little harder to get a lot.

Also for DLR no need or advantage to prepay like for WDW. The DLR cd is only $59 so not as much as in WDW.

Ask the PP Photographers about special shots.

Also read this thread for a special deal(not the whole thing just the OP and last page or two).

Thank you for the info! We were at DLR in April, but I didn't know about the Photopass so I never noticed any photographers. Where does one first encounter a PP photographer? Easy to spot?

Usually just inside the gates of DL and sometimes in the Esplanade between DCA and DL.

Look for thier tan vest and cameras on tripods. If you look at this link it will show you, but most of the information is geared to WDW only.

When are you going? We went in May (off-season) and were purchasing the CD, so we sought out photographers, but found them difficult to find (other than in front of the castle or at the character M&Gs). We went again in August (high-season - lovin' our APs) and they seemed to be everywhere (but this time we weren't buying the CD). So, it seems to vary. I must say that I did find them to be more plentiful at WDW than they were at DLR, but we still got some great shots!

Even with the scarcity of PP in May, after adding borders and saving in different sizes, I ended up with about 400 picture files from a 4-day trip.

Oh and one more thing. We were there a couple weeks ago and ended up with about 60 pics. Basically I recommend that if time allows you stop and have your pic taken anytime you see an photopass person, even if you already had a pic at that location before. Sometimes one looks better then the other or you catch someone with their eyes closed etc. Be fun and creative with they are taking your pics. It makes buying a CD worth so much more.

Thank you for the great advice!

We are going the week after Thanksgiving. We will be in the parks Mon, Tue & Wed.

:yay:
