Photopass and Ride Pictures

Are they connected? Can we get our ride photos but on Photopass?

No you cannot, unfortunately. At BLAB though, you can email your picture home. That is the only way to get a ride photo w/o purchasing it. (or you can take a pic of the pic with your camera or cell like lots of others do.... although the quality sucks!) Sorry...

Even at WDW they only have one ride photo hooked up with photopass (Test Track). Sad!

I'm hoping that they'll add more rides to PP at WDW and start some at DLR as well.

I was told by a PP while at DWorld that they can only put attractions on the photo system after the existing contract for photo booth expires. so was the case with Test Track Im guessing.

As I have said on another thread. If they would include the rides on PP they would probably sell a lot more PP cd's. My DH has said that we had to choose between the cd or the equivalent number of ride photo's. I chose the cd. It is a bummer though because I know DS is going to want ride photo's.

We just took a picture of the ride photo with our camera and that turned out fine and it can then be added to your photo CD. It depends on your camera though......

In Disneyland, I always took a picture with my digital camera after we went on the rides. Sometimes I would wait until there was a really great one, always on splash mountain, and purchase that particular one. The rest were still on my camera for fun memories, not necessarily a good quality print.

When we were in WDW last time, there were always CMs standing by the preview screens right after you got off the ride. This prevented us from being able to take pictures of the preview picture. Because we were getting the CD, we didn't purchase any ride photos.
