I have decided i want Randy for my Photograchy and STVS for my viseo but what i cant decide is how long to have them for?! So far my plans are -

Wedding at 3pm Yacht club Gazebo

Reception 4- 8:30 ish

Illuminations 9- 10 (Ive been told that Illuminations is on at 9:30 on the 5th December next year :confused3 )

Also i dont want the whole thing to feel rushed - Do you think i have enough time between everything? the only other time i can have the ceremony is 1pm but as many people are staying in a villa i thought 3pm would be the better option?!

If you're not having a pre-reception from 4 - 5 and you're just jumping right into the introductions at 4, then I think you will be OK! If you're not doing introductions until 5, then yes, I think you might feel a bit rushed. I think if you have a 1 pm ceremony, then the day is going to feel VERY long for both you and your guests.

Where is your wedding reception again?

This was our day

11am ceremony at YCG
12pm cocktail hour at Ariels
1pm to 5pm reception at Ariels
BREAK
8.30pm to 9.30pm Illuminations Dessert Party

Randy was with us from 9.30 in the morning until the end of the reception then he took a break and was already at EPCOT when we got there and stayed until after Illuminations.

Stan was the same except he didn't arrive until say about 10am but stayed for the same amount of time.

We asked our guests to change from the wedding clothes during the break so that they could come and really relax at the Dessert Party - most were grateful for the break, they either got to EPCOT early and drank around the world or they had a quick swim or just chilled - we actually went up to our room - freshened up, read cards then went back to the bar with our family, then we walked to EPCOT, International Gateway, it was so fun. No-one commented to me that the day was too long, but I don't suppose they would ;)

In terms of your plans my only concern is do your guests have enough time to get from the reception to Epcot? Otherwise the timings look great :)

My wedding reception is probably going to be at the Yacht Club - in the Asbury room which is part of the convention center! Im not so bothered about doing introductions as there are now only going to be 20 of us (Some of my fiances family have decided they cant be "bothered to go" but thats a whole other story)

I guess what im going for is something quite relaxed but with that "wow" factor lol

here is our preliminary schedule, were also using randy & stan for our photo & video. 10:30am parents, moh & bman arrive, breakfast in rooms, girls hair & makeup & preceremony pictures 11:30am-12:30pm. 12:30pm guest transporation to wedding. 1pm wedding ceremony at the yc gazebo. 2-4pm prereception at marthas vineyard & wedding pictures. the 2 hours will also give us a chance for a breath, not feel rushed with pictures, we'll be able to go to the prereception for appetizers & drinks and then start our receiving line into ariels for our 4pm reception. dinner is scheduled for 4:45. we'll then head out for the pier & private boat to epcot at 8:15 for our dessert party at uk. return charter bus at 9:30pm. we'll then return to the yc with randy for a few night time pictures. so we have randy 11am-10pm, 11 hours & stan 12:30-9:30, 9 hours.

less than 4 months now, were getting so excited!
