Does anyone know the photography policy for Victoria and Albert's? I searched online, but couldn't find anything. If photography is restricted in the general dining area, is the policy different at the Chef's Table?

I've seen lots of Dining Reviews from V&A that include photos of the menus, the dining room and the food---so I'm guessing it is allowed. I know I have read reviews from Chef's Table but I'm not sure if they included photos or not.

If you pop over to the Restaurant board, there is a board specifically for Dining Reviews and you may have some luck doing furter research there.

Special honeymoon meal, perhaps?

Thanks for the help. I normally don't venture off of this board, so that will be uncharted territory for me!

We plan on going for our honeymoon. The next question is whether I even take the camera or if having a DSLR there would be a bit tacky. I could always just take my P&S, but then I think I would be disappointed by the quality of the shots. Ah, decisions decisions.

Not only to they allow pictures, they encourage it...they know that couples spend a lot of money for this experience, and that they want to take all of it home that they can. My wife was nervous about me taking our camera in there, but we had a ball taking pictures of food!!! Our waitress even brought out a camera hanger that let my camera hang from the table so it wouldn't be kept on the floor...she said the ladies also use it to hang their purses, or something like that....Just be ware that it is a dark place, and a lot of the plates are white, so flash is tricky...if you have a 50mm or something like that, use that. All we had at the time as a limited knowledge of this site and the lens kit for our D60. But we had a great time, so go enjoy!!!
