Photographer's view of Teppan Edo

Beautiful pics!! Droolishous food!! I need to go to Teppan Edo. Any advice for a first timer?

I am dying to eat there and those photos are mouth watering.

Thanks for the beautiful pics. I took my kids to a local japanese steakhouse on my birthday three years ago. My then three year old daughter was terrified of the flames during cooking (don't play with fire). We've got ADR's for Teppan Edo during the last week of September ( or at least until a CM calls to tell me we've been overbooked;)) I'm going to show her your photos to warm her up to the idea of giving it another try. :cheer2:

Another good thing at Teppan Edo is that they don't do the fire stuff...just the smoke volcano. :) So you can mention that to your DD too!

Again - wonderful photos. :hippie:

I've always wanted to try Teppan Edo, but I'm a real picky eater. :upsidedow Your report has proved to me that I'd definately find something there I'd like. :yay:

Fantastic pics! We had chef Kenji too, last week on Tuesday for dinner. We also ordered the same desserts! What did you think of the green tea pudding? It looked, well, my baby has made some stuff look like that... but it sure tasted delish!

Yes had to get past the the look but it was very rich and tasty, basically a panna cotta.

You had Kenji!!! I absolutely love this chef. He is so sweet and so silly. I am going to be calling and adding a notation to my ADR that if he is there when we go in 2.5 weeks that HE be the chef we get.

Great pics!

So if i have a ressie here do i just ask for the Japanese steakhouse side? Last time we sat in another area and had lots of fried food off the menu..

We are eating here for the first time in December. I keep seeing and hearing about noodles. Does that mean you cannot get fried rice instead? I am afraid my husband may not like those too much.
