I find what works best for me is to have my wife carry my camera bag, so I am free to take pictures.

So...don't buy a vest, buy saturn's wife or a similar facsimile. I always wanted to buy a sherpa at the photo store but they seem to be always out of stock.

I asked one of the Photopass photogs about their vests during my last trip (it was extremely hot and humid) and she told me that they were incredibly hot. Well, it was hot enough without the vest so that answer put me off of ever wanting to travel to Orlando with one.... even if I wanted to risk being called a geek. (LOL like I needed a vest to get called one. )

I never looked closely at theirs. but I wouldn't be surprised if they are nylon or polyester for durability ...

cotton aren't so bad..especialy if they are vented..

I think there is a picture of Mark modeling that, or something similar.

I'm sure he was only wearing it for a modeling job..especially after reading this..

While I respect the functionality of a vest, I'm far to concerned with my appearance to wear something like that. It is important to me to look dignified and respectable when I'm out in public.

That looks more like something Vin Diesel would wear in a movie than a photo vest! You probably would not have to worry about being teased, but might need to worry about security pulling a gun on you. Then there is always the risk of a strip search looking for a WOMD.

Seriously though, that is much more pleasant on the eyes than a traditional vest, but I do not recommend walking around the Orlando airport wearing it. The security there might actually freak out seeing it.
