My friends have the package that includes the free photobook --- does anyone know if you just get a code to order it from the photopass website? They are thinking about prepurchasing the photopass and were wondering about how the book offer would work with it.

Yes, there's a coupon in the booklet that comes in your Mickey mail. It directs you to use the code from your Photopass card (also in the booklet) as the promotion code.

After you get home and make your book, you enter the code and get your book, presumably in the mail a few weeks later.

So how does that work if you have the photo book that comes with the fd package but also pre-purchased the CD when it comes to ordering?

I'm assuming I can get my pics taken using the photopass card(s) I get at Disney from the photographers, then when I get home use the pics from the cards to order my pre-purchased CD and also use the same pics on there but put the code in that is on the card that was sent to me with my Mickey mail.

Does that sound right? I really don't know anything about this as I have never ordered the photopass cd or the book before. I have no clue how it all works individually let alone combining the two.

I bet I'm one of few on these boards who know how to pronounce your name (kay-lee) - I'm from NS originally, moved for work - ciad mile failte! A little Gaelic on the Disboards!

I'm guessing it's just like a grocery store coupon - it will simply remove the cost of the photopass book, and you're free to order whatever else you want on top of that.

Funny you say that. I am originally from Ontario and when my ex suggested that we call our first born "Celidh" if it was a girl, I was like WHAT?!?! Nobody will know how to say that. I had never heard it before. Now that I have lived here for 14 years, I get it now and realize that around here, it is not so obscure, especially since our local Honda dealer is called Celidh Honda. Alas, we had a boy so it was a moot point, he is a Joshua.

So, back to the original topic... I will just log on to my photo pass account, choose my pics and order my CD and then choose pics for the book all on the same account. I'm assuming I don't have to have two different accounts.
