Hi, I just booked my vaca for NEXT September, and being a charter member of the over-planners club, I am already jotting down notes and planning!

Question--I know that when you go into CRT, the family will pose with Cinderella for the photo that they include with the breakfast. However, can you take MORE photos with her, or is it like seeing Santa Claus (that's the best way I can describe)--I would like to be able to also have a photo of just her and daughter, then one of her, ME and daughter (the family one would be the one they give us). Am I asking too much?

I would be interested in knowing that too, I am thinking it is like santa clause though :) If that is the case I am foregoing the family shot and I just want the picture with Cindy and DD, I hate getting my picture taken anyway!

We did dinner at CRT last February. We have two daughters, 4 & 9 months at the time. We took shots of just the girls with Cindy and with all 4 of us. When we got the pictures during dinner we were given 3 pictures, a large picture of the castle and a picture of the girls with Cindy and a picture of all 4 of us with Cindy. She was great with the kids!

Edited to add: next time I'm just having pictures taken of the girls with her. The picture of my DH and I with her too is not my favorite!

Personally, I think that asking for a mini-photoshoot with Cindy is asking too much. The last time we went, there was a line of about 30 people behind us and I, personally, would have felt badly about taking more than what I felt was a fair amount of time with Cindy. If you feel you *must* ask for more than one photo, I would recommend being very tuned-in to the line and those around you and only asking for one extra photo. Enjoy!

When my DD8 and I dined there (Sept. 06), I was given my choice of either taking a photo with BOTH of us in it, or taking a photo with just her in it. There was no choice of taking a picture of us with Cindy and one with her and Cindy only. I asked, and they told me "no".

When we went for breakfast a couple of months a go I asked if I could get a shot with just DD and Cindy and one with all of us in it. I was told I could only do that if I bought an extra photo package (didn't want to entire package, just one copy with all of us). They did let us take one of dd and Cindy with our own camera before the rest of us jumped in for the photopass photo.

In fact, the PP photographer was quite rude to me when I asked. She said in a really snotty tone that if everyone got two pictures we'd be here forever. And she's probably right--they have to limit it (although I'm not sure the time difference of taking one with my own camera vs. and extra with PP)--but she didn't have to be so nasty when saying it.

probably to ensure that they don't catch the eyes closed. They can be added to your photopass account and ordered. We preferred a different picture than the one we were given so we ordered ad framed a different one.

Is CRT mostly a "kid" thing? Or are couples there too?

Probably 85% of CRT guests are families with children. However, I don't think that fact means that you have to avoid it if you don't have children - the atmosphere is elegant, the menu is upscale, and adults without children shouldn't feel out of place at all. It's a great experience!

It's a very common "proposal" and anniversary place for couples (especially dinnertime), but like everything else in Disney, it's also filled with kids.

I know that depending on the total # of people in your party you get X number of photo packages. So if you are entitled to multiple packages I don't see why you wouldn't be allowed to get a different shot taken for the second package.

Question, so if we are 6 at the table, but 1 is an infant how many packages will we get, we will be 2 A & 12, 9, 3 and 1 yo??

I may have not been clear, sorry--I was thinking more along the lines of having the Photopass guy shoot the family photo, but then hubby using MY camera to get a quick shot of me and DD. Does this make more sense? This is what we do during character meets--hubby takes a photo while Photopass guy is scanning his photo onto our card..

And OF COURSE, it goes without saying that if there was a huge line we would just take our photo and leave. We are NICE tourists

You will actually have take your picture first (or at least that's what we were instructed to do), but, yes, you *should* get the option of using your own camera to take a quick snap before the PhotoPass photographer does his/her thing.

And, for what it's worth, I totally assumed that you were "nice" tourists just because you were asking this very question.

Here's the photo package info from another website:
A package with four 4x6 prints and one 6x8 print of your photo, as well as one 6x8 print of Cinderella Castle, in a Cinderella photo holder (valued at $29.95 plus tax) will be delivered to you during your meal.
(one photo package per party of 1-4; two photo packages for parties of 5-8, etc.)

So you should get two photo packages for your party since 5 of you will be paying guests.

WOO HOOO!!!! You just made my day! I can't believe we get 2 photo packages. I will be getting a pic of our twin 3 yo girls in one and all 3 of our kids (DS is 4) in the other package. Gosh this board really prepares you for everything!

I'm so excited!! We're eating here in Dec the morning after my birthday. We're going with friends so there will be 6 of us. *Ideally* I would like a picture of just my boys with Cindy, our family with Cindy and our friends of course with Cindy. I'm hoping to get there early enough to get a couple of shots like this because I'm sure I can't convince my boys to take time to stand in line any other time to see princesses! :rotfl: Hopefully everyone will smile-I'm looking for a Christmas card picture people! :goodvibes I've got more of a chance getting more than one picture with Cindy than I do of getting my boys to smile!
