I read on one of these threads about a place in WDW that has a stand for your camera so you can take timed photos. Can anyone tell me where this is? We are hoping to take a Christmas card photo.
Thanks in advance.

I believe they are marked on the park maps. They really are a got place to get a photo with a great backgroud (i.e. Cindy's Castle). For a Christmas card, you may want to get a more up-close shot with some of the Santa's at Epcot or at Camp Minnie-Mickey in AK where they have holiday costumes on around Christmas. We have used these two in the past and they turned out great!

Have a good time!

There are many photo spots in the parks. They are marked on the maps but I don't ever remember seeing any where you could take timed photos on a stand.

If there is such a thing there is something I haven't found yet. :)

I don't know of any places at MK to do that...I do recall seeing one at Universal a fews years ago. There are several photo spots makred on the maps as pointed out by safetymom. Those spots are also marked with a Kodak sign at the actual location. I believe the one for the Castle is to the left as you face the castle - in fact, I believe there is one to the left and the right of the castle on the walkways to Adventureland and Tomorrowland respectively.

On a side note, there is a great scene at Downtown Disney with four or five characters scupted from "snow" - I got great shots of DSs there in June. It's behind the Christmas store - on the parking lot side....
