Can anyone recommend a good photo editing software. I want a software that will allow me to make a picture slide show which I can add music and graphics and play on a dvd player. And one that is not too expensive (under $150) Any suggestions? Thanks!

I use Nero 8 Ultra edition, it comes with software for you to create your own photo slide show and will burn it onto DVD so that it will play on a regular DVD player. You can also put in videos and music in the slide show, and transitions like fading from one picture to another.

If you have decent internet speeds you can download the demo and give it a try.

Nero works fine, Photodex ProShow Gold has more options but now I just use (or more accurately my mother uses and I put the pics on it) a digital picture frame. Really it's better - you can continuously show pics (and videos)

Buy a mac and it comes with Iphoto that does a great job of slide shows
