Shot at f/5, 180mm, 1/60 sec, ISO 3200. I really like the way this shot was metered. I think the shadows make it much more dramatic and visually interesting that if her whole body was illuminated.

I was a bit surprised how things worked out with the Tarmon 70-300mm USD /f4-5.6 worked in low light. It was great on it's a small world and I even scored some keepers on Pirates of the Caribbean.

Nice shot!

Havoc,

I lost another bid for the Minolta 200mm 2.8. I was high bidder with 5 seconds to go and with my max bid $90 above. 5 seconds later it went up $100 and I was out. :confused3

Agreed, great shot.

Just continue to keep your eye open. eBay and the dyxum exclusive sales forum.

I go through this whenever there is an old lens I want -- lose a few times, wait for a good seller at a good price. But you clearly know what to expect now -- $750 for a good copy of the HS version. The original version a bit cheaper.

Great shot Mike! Every time I plan on getting up early, I just can't seem to get my butt out of bed.

Is having young children an excuse for being unable to get out of the house early for shots like that, or is it a good reason to get out of the house for shots like that?

Its the only chance I get to get out by myself :rotfl2:

Hey guys anyone have any experience cleaning spots of their sensors? I have a tiny spot on mine that is annoying but something I easily clone out with ease so if its tricky to clean I dont mind leaving it

So the pic made it on Flickr Explore today and has made it up as far as #69, which is the furthest any of my pictures have made it. I dont get it though, I almost didnt post it because the bottom left corner has some blur, which I get a lot with my Rokinon. You gusy think there is an issue with that lens?

Only #2 without adapters.
All Minolta AF lenses work with Sony dSLR.
Md/mc manual Minolta lenses don't work directly on Sony dslrs.
