Just got my Nikon D60. We are planning a cruise to Alaska and I wanted a new camera. I have a telphoto lens as well.

Got the backpack to carry it around.

I plan to take some test pictures this weekend.

Really excited.

Yep, on the couch and her brother too. (he ran from the camera and I was using the dirty thirty so chasing was pointless) Fortunately it came right off the couch but her not so much...

Gosh no. I'm not a good enough photographer to get many good shots with Nikon gear. I need the advantage of shooting Canon.

A friend with a D3 wanted to try out his new 200-400, so he showed up at our son's soccer game. We traded off use of our cameras throughout the game. I have to admit that if Canon made an equivalent to the 200-400, I'd buy it (especially since Canon would probably sell it for $1,000 less). If Nikon can build a long lens that good, I can only imagine how incredible Canon's would be!
