I've been impressed with the A6300 super-high ISO. There are no miracles, and I still prefer to keep the ISO at 800 or lower on the A6300. But the IQ doesn't entirely fall apart at super high ISO. In fact, at 51,200, the images from the A6300 may be just as usable as my D750 (though my d750 produces much better images in the range of ISO 400-12800).

Agreed...I considered ISO6400 to be the max 'usable everyday' limit on the A6000, with 12800 usable in RAW with a little cleanup. With the A6300, I'm finding ISO12,800 out of camera to be 'usable everday' if exposed right, and ISO 25,600 to be usable even in JPG with some cleanup work and a little resizing. Admittedly, 51,200 is still a bit far to push it except emergencies, but as you mention even good full frame cameras are pushing a bit at those limits most of the time. Even the vaunted A7S can look pretty nice at those ISO levels, but only outputting 12MP - downsizing the A6300 results after RAW conversion and cleanup can get pretty darn close.

I'm seriously debating whether to only bring my A6300 on my next Disney trip. If I bring the D750, I'll primarily use it for dark rides. I absolutely prefer my D750 for landscapes, as it really does capture more dynamic range, at higher ISOs, than the A6300, but for travel, the A6300 landscapes may be good enough for me as a compromise of weight and size.
