John Travolta's Qantas Boeing 707, which he flew to Australia last week. Not the best angle, but it was hard to get without too many people in it!!

I am loving all the photos of frosty flowers and leaves (dcg0317) and all the fall colours (everyone!), which we just don't see here! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you hjd0411. How come John Travolta's jet has the Qantas logo on it, I thought I saw a picture of his jet when it landed at Bangor, Maine airport and it had no markings on it.

He's just a normal guy like us when he goes on vacation. Except for the fact that when we go we rent a car...when he goes he rents a plane.

Thank you hjd0411. How come John Travolta's jet has the Qantas logo on it, I thought I saw a picture of his jet when it landed at Bangor, Maine airport and it had no markings on it.

He's just a normal guy like us when he goes on vacation. Except for the fact that when we go we rent a car...when he goes he rents a plane.

He is actually a Qantas roving ambassador - wherever he goes he represents Qantas (eg he was on Oprah when she announced the show coming to Australia). The plane used to be a Qantas passenger jet, now tricked out as JT's personal plane (bedrooms, bathrooms etc..!!) And he of course pilots it. He was out here this time for the 90th anniversary of the founding of Qantas.
The logo on the plane now is what was on the plane when it was in service with Qantas in the 60's and 70's.

Thanks for the info, I knew he was a pilot and owned his own jet and flew it himself, but didn't know his was ambassador for Qantas.
