i bought my 4 yr old granddaughter the same camera except in blue since she loves blue and hates pink. it takes some decent photos for a relatively inexpensive little camera like that. we got her a lanyard for it at target and so far it has survived 5 months and a trip to wdw

LOL Jann .. thats pretty funny. Pickled eggs are pretty common in this neck of the woods. Only we dont get the red color from Red #40. When we make pickled eggs they are made with red beets and that is what makes them red. One of my favorite sandwiches is red beet eggs on toast with mayo .. sounds gross to some but they are really good Its another one of those good ol' Pennsylvania Dutch recipes

guess pa dutch must be different than amish . we have a lot of Amish(and a few "Amish" restaurants that used to be more "authentic" than they are now) here but never saw the pickled eggs, only noodles and gravy over stuffing, talk about a carbo load

went to Lakeview Cemetery yesterday to see if the daffodil hill was blooming ( it wasn't.) so took this one of jd rockefellers' gravesite, which reminded me of the washington monument pics on a much smaller scale. couldn't get any without the tree in the way as i was trying to be discrete since lots of people were there visiting gravesites due to Easter.

i've been really bored with my locations, need to go somewhere new but i 've been playing with some photoshop techniques meanwhile. i really like this softened dreamy effect for flowers, did a sunset in it too. ( easy just a lighten adjustment layer and Gaussian blur /multiply background layer)
