How are you selecting/masking your original photo? Do you do anything special at the transition between foreground (subject) and background? I often end up with a join that is too harsh.

I just used a feathered brush when erasing the layer mask

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad... a bit tweaked but it made a trashbin photo into something that I really like.

*Yep, 1/8s handheld. Figured adding blur would tell the story better, or something... it was all intentional! Really!

Here are some pictures pictures I took at the flower festival this year. Camera was a Canon SX40hs.

This was at pretty extreme zoom. (840mm from about 30' away - kept hearing him in the pond in China (where the dragon is at))
