wasn't sure what area to post this.
Do you get the photo pass package at every trip?
We have twice. And I'll admit. We look at digital pics once. Then not really again. Thinking we are going to skip it this year. What do you guys do. What are your thoughts. The pics are beautiful, just not used tremendously here, but I'm not a crafter or scraper either

I do. (Well, this is my first trip since it turned into Memory Maker). ESpecially on longer trips when it's not taking too much time to stop at many PP photographers. Also, definately when it's just my son and I, so I get to be in pictures, too.

That said, I make a photobook for every trip so pictures are important to us.

Yup every time and this is our first trip with kids this month. It is usually just dh and I. We were only in WDW for 36 hours one trip ( just got off a week long cruise, but since we were so close to WDW we had to go for an overnight! lol) and I still regret not getting it. We never got a single picture of us together during that 36 hours. I didn't bother to have any taken since we didn't buy it. That said I am a huge picture person and I do scrapbook, so it might make a difference. And you can still get pictures taken and then just buy one or two (which I should have done on that really short trip).

I didn't have it for our first trip. but I have gotten it every trip since then. It's just my children and me though so if I didn't have it, it would look like I sent them to the parks on their own. I also had Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on those trips and got all of the photos with it. My son had Pirate's League on the last trip and those things go a long ways towards making the purchase worth it. I've decided that if we're there at least 4 days, I will purchase it.

I do. I love watching DD interact with the characters and the experience is not the same if I am taking the pictures. My favorite picture of DD is of her talking to Ariel. She was telling her about when she was a mermaid and the adventure that DD and Melody, Ariel's daughter, had together. Now, had I been behind the camera, I would have missed that great little story. Worth every penny just to be in the moment.

Now, I am not a scrapper either. And I always say that I'm going to make a photo book but I never do. But I use those pictures as my background on my computers. It flips through the pictures every 30 seconds or so. DD loves watching the screen and remembering.

I've purchased it before, but I did not for our trip a few weeks ago... and I probably won't spend the money again. I know my opinion appears to be in the minority here, but I just don't see how it's worth the money. I gave our camera to the photopass photographers, and they took many photos of our family for free using our camera. So the $170 prepaid price is only getting me the bonus of ride photos and magic photos. Magic photos are cute to look at, but nothing that I NEED to have. And ride photos usually don't come out that great. That being said, if there are any photos I want after our trip, I can spend the $15 each for them.
