Photo Pass questions...

In the past, when we'd be in one of the parks and a photographer would take our pic, he'd hand us a ticket so we could indentify our pics later that day, at some location in the park where they were printing them.

I understand with this new Photo Pass thing that you don't see the pictures until you are home. Is this correct? And then you can order them online?

Do they still do it the old way too?? Can you do it both ways? I think I like being able to see the pics that same day. Not sure I'd order any, once we got back home.

Is there an FAQ here on the boards about Photo Pass?

You can still see the pictures like the old system. In fact, I recommend that for any pictures that are very important to you..just to prevent the lost photopass photos that some people seem to be having.

You can still view them at home also. We purchased the ones we wanted at the parks and still viewed them at home as well.

The PhotoPass photographers will hand you a Photopass card when they take your picture. I found it easier to keep handing the same one to the next photographer at each picture. However, I did have some hand me a new card after they snapped the picture (I didn't get my card to them fast enough). So at the end of our day at the park, we went to the same photo pickup places as before...they took the card(s) and brought up our pictures.

OHHHH!! Ok, I get it now!!! Thanks so much! I think that sounds like a great way to do the pictures. I'm relieved that I'll be able to see the pictures while still at Disney World, and I assume they will print them out for you right away if you want them, AND/OR you have the option to still order other pictures once you get home??

Yes, they print them and you take them with you just like before. AND you still have the option of purchasing them once you get home as well.
