How does photopass work at Disneyland? Ive only done it at Disneyworld with Magic Bands.

Is it worth it? Our Disneyworld photopass pictures were amazing and worth every penny. Just seeing if that's also true at Disneyland.

I've gotten one at Disney World and Disneyland and it is well worth it! If you visit Disneyland for at least 3 days I say you get your money's worth. If you order the photopass online they send you a Cd and a voucher. You take the voucher in the park and redeem it for a photopass card which you had over to the CM when you get your pic taken. They do magic shots there just like WDW too.

For us it is worth it to get the ride photos. DH and I are fans of all the rides that have the photos and after a few rides the photopass pays for itself. And since it is just the 2 of us we like being able to get photos of the 2 of us together.

Getting it in advance for $69 is very much worth it. Besides the character meals, the ride photos and the adhoc places around the park it's nice to know I don't HAVE to take pictures constantly because I know there will be a bunch waiting for me when I get home! I've also grown to like the free pro photos they include on the disk. Great for photo books!

Also agree it's where the group shots are.

It is definitely worth it, especially if you order it online ahead of time the price was too good for me to say no. We got our money's worth from the character dining as we went to two different ones. It was great to get some good shots, and if there is enough time the photographers will take lots of shots.
