I have read a number of threads and want to make sure I understand this correctly. Can someone please let me know if this is correct.

I am heading to DL from August 31 to Sept 8.
I will be back at the park from October 2-6.

If I read correctly, I am OK to put both trips onto one order, correct.

I just need to make sure that I log into the account within 30 days of the first use (by sept 30) and then I have another 30 days to complete my order, during which time I can include the pictures from my second trip.

Please let me know if this is Ok or if I have screwed it up.

Thanks in advance for the help!

You should be fine, but remember the photopass rules.

PhotoPass pictures are available for online viewing up to 30 days after the date that the first picture is taken. Once you enter the PhotoPass number to access your pictures, you have another 30 days in which to edit them.

In other words, if your first picture is taken on September 1, you have until October 1 to enter your code to view the pictures online. If you enter your code on September 20, you will be able to see those pictures until October 20.

I recommend completing any and all edits you wish to make to the first set before you take the second trip, and then complete your edits on the second set ASAP after you get back. You may not have time to edit two sets of photos in the time you have before the first group of photos expire. Just because you have two sets in your account doesn't mean they'll keep all sets there until your second group of photos expire.

In late May, I went to WDW. I accessed the WDW pictures on June 18. On July 2, I took an unplanned trip to Disneyland and used PhotoPass there. I got back and added those photos to my account. On July 18, my WDW photopass pictures expired, but the Disneyland ones remained in my account until their expiration date. Fortunately, I had ordered the entire CD before July 18 (albeit very late the evening of July 17) and got the pictures. For what it's worth, I paid the Disneyland price (substantially cheaper than WDW) because I entered the Disneyland code after the WDW code.

FYI You can call the PP people and they will give you a 10 day extention but no more than that.

OK, I want to make sure I understand. I have pre-ordered the photopass CD. I have 2 trips planned DL from Sept 5 - Sept 14. We then travel to DW for Oct 7 - 22.

If understand if my first picture is taken Sept 5 at Disney Land. I will have 30 days from then, Oct 4 to get them on-line. I will then have an additional 30 days from then before they expire? Does this really mean both trips can be on my CD? That would be just fantastic.

Yes. you are correct. Did this last year and will be doing it again this year.

Looks good.

OK, I want to make sure I understand. I have pre-ordered the photopass CD. I have 2 trips planned DL from Sept 5 - Sept 14. We then travel to DW for Oct 7 - 22.

Yes, first picture on 9/5 means you need to put that card ID number onto your account by 10/5 (I'd do it before that by a couple days).

Then you have until Nov 5'ish to finish up your order.

Now...you might end up finding out that having both parks on the account will make it DLR pricing. There are a lot of people who have done DLR second, and they've gotten the DLR price (which is only 59.99 plus $7 shipping)...I'm not sure if anyone who has done DLR *first* has chimed in, to find out if it's a first/last thing, or just a quirk of going to both parks. Anyway, you'll find out when you add your DLR card ID number and go to order. :)

So be aware of if the pricing changes to DLR's, and decide, if that happens, if you want to go ahead and just use the prepay code, or if you want to pay out of pocket and get a refund on the prepayment. (lots of IFs there!)

But to answer the question, yes, the timing should work out.

The price charged for the CD will be based on the park you are in the last day you have pix. So if you go to DLR and then WDW you'll be charged WDW price (so good idea to use pre-pay option). If you go to WDW and then DLR, DLR pricing. I've had this confirmed by PP employee.

Now if you go to DLR and then go to WDW and then you (or a friend)can get back to DLR within your time frame (max. 60 days from date of first picture) you'll pay the DLR price.

Last year we went to DLR before our trip in Sept and then we went to DLR after our trip as well. I was in a group of 3 friends who were at WDW at the same time. All told, my CDs (5 total) had 2180 pictures on them of which 150 were my friends from WDW and 2030 were mine.

Last year they offered a special deal that if you ordered anything from the PP website you could get your PP pix extended 30 more days. I was able to get pictures from Aug-thru Nov. on the same CD order! Yippee! Of course there's no knowing if they'll make the save offer again this year.

Have fun!

That is awesome! By using the boards I have been finding out so many things I didn't know and ways to save. Thanks for all the responses.

shoot, I'm going to miss being able to do this by 3 days next spring, and that includes the 10 day grace period :sad2:....
