Hi all
I had been thinking about getting more professional pics / character pics taken on this trip and I have loads of rookie questions!

How much is the photo pack?
How many pics are included?
Where can I purchase this?
Does it work in conjunction with the Photo Pass card? (Can I use it to purchase pics off the photo pass card)
Can I get Dream AP discount on the pack?

Theres a photography studio in both parks (inside on the left when you enter the main building at WDW and IFAIR the one in DLP is in the Kodak shop) Are these professional green screen photos included in the Pack and can they be added to the Pass card?

Also how do you add ride pics to the Pass Card?

Hope this isnt all confusing (I'm confused ::yes:: ) and thanks in advance.

Have no idea about a photo pack?, but if you build up all your photos by handing the pass over where each photo is taken and at where the ride photos are sold ask for your pics to be added to it. When you get to the end of your trip go to one of the shops on the back of the card to view all your photos, then you can pick which ones you would like to get printed, the more you buy then, they cheaper they become, we were I think ¬35 for 6 photos and with shareholder discount we were ¬27

Ah I think its the photo pack or a better offer infact. The photo pack was 5 photos for about 35€ but I cannot remember if that was before or after discount. Do you know if AP holders get discount by any chance? Thanks ever so much for your response :)

Hiya

The photo pack is 5 for 35 and you can get the AP discount too (as long as you are buying the pack in a shop and not the photo bit after a ride).

It does work in conjunction with the photo pass cards, you can exchange the tickets when looking at the pictures from the cards.

You can add ride photos to the photo pass card, I haven't done it but Rachael did.

However the photo pack is no longer the best value if you're getting a few photos. On the first 2 trips I bought the photo pack but this last trip I didn't. I bought 4 extra photos from the makeover and I'm sure it was 26 euros and we got the AP discount. I'm fairly sure 5 photos is 32 euros. On the last evening I bought 9 photos and I'm pretty sure it was 42 euros which after the discount was a very good price for Disney I think.

Not long until you go now!!

I'm not definate but I know it was in the 40s and for some reason I've got 42 stuck in my head. I remember being amazed by the price. I asked to look in the book and after 10 photos it's something stupid like 3 euros a photo!

Ok I've lied! I've also had a free photo..
I'm a little bit of a hoarder and I still had a few receipts! The 4 photos were 29 not including the discount and apparently I bought 8 photos for 41 however I bought 4 and later on 9, I've just looked through my photos to check it definitely was 9 - it is! Wooo little freebie for me!

Ooh another hoarder (just threw out receipts from our Jan trip :) )
Thanks so much for your help - thats everything except I'd just like to know if anyones used the photographer in either park where you are in a studio and if this can be added to your Photo Pass?

Can't get over the value you got!

Didn't even know there was such a photographer?

Hiya !:wave2: can you buy the princess pavilion photographs later on? or just at the time? I just ended at the photo point buying them don't remember them giving me a card?

I'm sorry I can't help with this, I'd assume so though, considering you can do it for the ride photos. I've not seen people have these done bit I've seen the finished ones, they're ever so nice.

Yeah you can buy them later, they gave me a card after taking them and I bought them with some others on the last night.

I wish there were more photographers around the park. I only saw them at the Princess Pavilion and Meet Mickey Mouse on my last trip.

I did an in depth review of the Disneyland Paris PhotoPass here. We loved it and bought 8 for €34,85 after shareholder’s club discount.

Thanks Steve :) I presume we'll get AP discount too? SHC gone since May unfortunately :(

Yes you would, and mine has gone too. Tempted to sell my shares, but first I'll enquire as to whether the rumoured lower tier benefits are going to happen.

Steve That is a brillant review of the dlp photo pass system. I was wondering how it differed from American ones. We have been in Disneyland california a lot as we lived beside it for a year and always got all our photos put on a cd and printer off at a later date.

It's great to know in advance now for our trip to dlp in oct how to use the photo pass. I just love the photos of disney!!

thanks for that write up dlpsteve. photo pass is new since our last trip so looking forward to trying it out. we never buy ride photos but I always regret it - sounds like this would be a good way to save money on them.

What are the lower tier benefit rumours Steve? I've searched but can't find anything. My membership is due to expire in October.
