Can someone give me some info on this photo pass, we have never used it before and have been looking up the information, as far as we can work out it seems brilliant for us as i am always missing from the photo as im also taking the same shots.... have read stories that certain ride photos can be put on the cd too.. however it was a old post.

Q1 how many photos will it hold?
Q2 can our friends also add there plastic cards that CM photographers gives you to the cd. how? (another post info)
Q3 also what is this (card share) is it just a share of the $99.99 online price between friends. would you reccomend this.

thanks
kirsty

p.s 6 weeks 5 sleeps left...:cool1: :cool1:

We got the photopass after our honeymoon and it was fab. Obviously with there being only 2 of us there was only ever one of us an a photo because the other had to take it (always feel a bit cheeky askin people). We are going again in a few weeks with DH family and intend to pre-order the photopass before we go so we don't have to pay out of our holiday money. I've heard that if you wait til you get home to view the photos you can add borders and stuff. Never done this, but will defo be givin it a try. DH thinks you can add as many cards as you like this way, but as I say we've never done it before :confused3 . if you go to www.disneyphotopass.com all the info is there.
Good luck, hope it helped

Kirsty,
as far as rides are concerned the only one on the photopass scheme 2 years ago was Test track, although this may have changed. We had approx 120 pics on ours (used our own camera as well) but I would stress that not all of them were good.We would still buy it but more for the borders etc-We weren't told about this on our last trip,if it was available then (?)& any pics that we wanted with effects- HM for one-had to be ordered from WDW.
Sharing is basically is sharing the cost of the $99 & then adding all the photopass cards onto the one disc.
What we did notice last time is that more people are getting their pics taken by the CMs to maximise the No. of pics on their disc!
HTH SD:thumbsup2

We came back from Disney last month and did Photopass in a shared scheme, and cannot recommend highly enough, all our photos (120) were excellent via only one which was slightly blurred, all photographers were excellent with dfferent combinations ie family and just kids, I added the borders / touches on line really easily, I uploaded about 4 cards as when you are at a waterpark they give you a card on a bracelet thingy to keep on your wrist whilst swimming so had a few cards there were 5 of us in share so $20 each and think between us we had abour 500 photos not a word said by Disney so yes I would do again, hope this helps.

If you prebook using this link you can save $25 and it includes free delivery to the UK. If when you get home you decide you don't want it they'll give you a refund :thumbsup2

Last year after editing and adding borders we had over 300 photos, I loved the ones of us holding Tinkerbell and Simba :)

Just make sure you stop at lots of PP photographers to get the best value for money :thumbsup2

Jo,
I don't go till next April, can i still pre-order that far in advance to make use of the $25 off?.x.

Good tip
give the kids the card , you will get lots more photos with them incharge
just take a photo of the cards number so if they lose it you have the code
we always have lots of cards because I keep forgetting to take it with me

you can get your photos put into a photobook or photomovie too
all easily done on the website

I have done 2 books now instead of getting them printed and then putting them into an album or scrapbooking them
you can add your our photos as well as using the photopass ones

But have promised the boys I'm not taking to many photos this year we will have to wait and see

well done everyone, between you all i have had all my queries answered.... thank you all so much.:cool1:

I definitely second Jackies tip about taking a photo of the card numbers because if you lose the card you also lose all your photos!
